Nana Princess Suites Villas & Spa

We stayed at Nana Princess at the end of May for our honeymoon. We were greeted with incredibly kind and attentive staff, especially Angeliki and Alla. The hotel is new, has all the luxury amenities necessary. Each room has a stunning sea view and private pool. Restaurants serve fresh and delicious food all times of day. Hotel has a private beach with individual lounge areas and sunbeds. Angeliki went above and beyond by ensuring our stay was comfortable, activities were reserved, and she even organized a sweet birthday cake for our visiting friend. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back again!

Review Nana Princess Nana Princess is a property you rarely come across nowadays. To get every detail right in the hospitality industry is a complex and time consuming task but Nana Princess did a fine job planning its property and operations which ticks all the boxes an avid travel enthusiast desires. The hotel’s design is modern and elegant as the several split levels, open spaces, and design choices give you a feeling you are staying in a contemporary art museum. The lines, lighting, materials, and glass are put well into place and as a guest you experience the ideologie of the brand with it’s art, fragrance, and live music, to name a few. The only one thing you might note is that the property feels a tad out of place as it’s a modern oasis amongst the older guest houses and hotel on the outdated Northen coast of Crete. That’s not a negative notion perse, as if this resort was to be located somewhere a bit more secluded, it would be a go-to retreat for the rich and famous as is the case in let’s say Sardinia or the Cote de Azure. The hospitality of the resort is unmatched as all the staff members know how to accommodate their guests in a timely manner and make sure that they have any desire fulfilled. A big thank you is in place as Angeliki and the rest of team do a fine job and make sure that you want to visit them again.

My family and I are much travelled, in my case for business and leisure. This was the best holiday resort hotel that I/we have ever stayed at. The location is supreme, there are views of the ocean from all rooms and as soon as you walk into the reception area, the backdrop is the ocean - it is stunning. There are so many highlights though: I have never been to a hotel where the staff are constantly cleaning, it was spotless. The facilities are excellent, there was plenty of space and everything that you needed - plenty of swimming pools as well as private pools for most rooms. The food quality was superb, fish, meat and vegan dishes. I read that the chefs are Michelin-starred and I can believe it. Note, that the lunch and evening meals were not buffet-style, you choose from a menu, however, that made the quality even higher in our opinion. The biggest highlight for us were the employees. We have never experienced such personal care anywhere else, from Dimitris the general manager, Michalis the restaurant manager, Thomas the operations manager and the incredible reception and client guest services team. Truly, nothing was ever too much for them, we became friends and they made us feel part of their family. A big mention to Sophia, Chrisa and Maria too! I can’t speak highly enough of them and the biggest tell, is that we can’t wait to go back!

We have just returned from the beautiful nana princess and once again it did not disappoint. From the moment you arrive this truly is a wonderful hotel with fabulous staff. The rooms in this property are of the very highest standard and have absolutely everything you could need from daily linen change, towels twice a day if required, daily turn down service with a great touch on your pillow. From the lovely Hermes toiletries to the Nespresso machine fresh bottled water daily, everything is on hand. The breakfast truly is the best we have experienced and have been fortunate to have stayed in some high end 5* hotels around the world there is nothing at all you could want for and if you cannot see something the team always try to get it for you. Thank you Michalis and the very wonderful Sofia for being so attentive. The pool and beach areas are beautiful with lovely drinks to your beds very welcome in a hot day again, thanks to Sofia and the pool girls for the amazing service. This holiday we had a very small issue with our own pool we mentioned this to the team and the management team Thomas and Sofia were exceptional at getting this resolved, communicating directly with us and in order to not have any disruption to our stay changed our room immediately which was not necessary but very welcome - I stress this was a minor issue but the professionalism and dedication to guess satisfaction from the team is second to none and above 5* thank you both Thank you also to Costas and Dimitris the club car team and finally to ZaZa on the main bar who is a wizard with his perfect drink mixology the best cocktails around Thank you nana team for a wonderful stay I highly recommend this hotel.

First of all, the resort is breath-taking. Modern, clean, luxury. Unfortunately the service was hit and miss (was it because it was the start of the season, so the staff wasn't trained well yet?) Anyhow, Let's start from the beginning. Upon reservations, we requested for a quiet room as i am a very light and sensitive sleeper. They gave us room 118, very close to the breakfast restaurant - where there is always live instrument (violinist) every morning until 11.30ish. And room 118 was also very close to one of the bars where they have live music until midnight-ish. Not quiet for sure! Check in experience - almost non existence. Yes we did arrive quite late, around 23.45- and only the night receptionist was there. But we paid the same price as those who checks in during the day. We felt really rushed, no explanation on the resort whatsoever, let alone a tour. I was celebrating my birthday on 00.00, so we said to the receptionist we wanted to have a quick drink at the bar before heading to the room, as we wanted to relax ourselves after a long tiring journey. However, he insisted that we MUST go to the room first and then go to the bar after. We did not want to argue, so we went to the room, but seriously WHY? We weren't informed about anything! the restaurants, wifi, SPA, pool opening hours, breakfast lunch hours, all basic stuff, NOTHING! In the room we were shown by a bell boy all the obvious - the aircon, toilet, etc. But not important information like a mere WIFI. A guest relation officer approached us the next day when we were sunbathing on the beach asking if we want a resort tour.. I mean.. we were relaxing, they should've approached us during breakfast instead, not when we were in our swimwear already. Then the aircon of the room was very unstable. I set it up to 21 degree, but at some point in the middle of the night it became hot! I had the worst sleep! I even noticed around 06.00, the aircon was completely turned of for 10 seconds, then restarted. I did report this to their guest relation officer, however the problem persisted every night, i woke up covered in sweat! The phone in the room next to our bed was not working, we had to use the small phone in the bathroom. I mentioned this to front office, they said they will send maintenance to fix it. Until our last day it was not fixed, even to call a bell boy for check out we used the toilet phone. And nobody ever checked whether the phone is now working or not. Housekeeping was also hit and miss. Every now and then they forgot to give us a small floor towel to wipe our feet after shower. We had to use the face towel! Face tissue was never topped up! They also NEVER top up the coffee pod for the coffee machine. We had to call and ask, and yes from the toilet phone. We also asked for an extra duvet, they said yes and never came. We had to chase it. All and all, we did not feel LISTENED since the beginning of reservation and during the whole period of our stay. We had lunch at th

And all the people who work there to make you feel happy … at the beach with a Smile and a little attention , in the club cars with a smile and a bottle before the tennis , at the spa with Lena , in your room, at the breakfast .( which is wonderful ) Whatever you are 10, 40’or 70 years old , you are welcome at nana princess and pampered ! My wife and I just returned from a 5-day getaway at Nana Princess - wish it was longer! From start to finish, perfection! Late arrival warmly welcomed with a cold serviette, welcome drink, and genuine smiles. Our junior suite (108) was fantastic - spacious, comfortable, with sweet welcome treats, water, and a bottle of local wine. Private pool with sea view was the cherry on top for a serene retreat. Breakfast at Carpe Diem was a delight - violin serenade and a vast selection of fresh international and local goodies. Chauffeured around on a buggy to anywhere you wanted to go Spa experience was top-notch, one of the best in Europe or even the world! Beach time included a private gazebo with a friendly, respectful team. (access to water sport also) Evening dining at Eternal Blue by the private beach was a culinary highlight. A big thank you to Sophia, Dimitri, the Blue angel team 😊, and all the Nana Princess staff for making our stay unforgettable.
