I'm just a happy traveler here. Some loud creaking at night when the temperature drops below freezing (don't we all) ; but otherwise, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. I'm a solo female traveler and I felt very comfortable staying here for 3 nights. The help staff was so nice and accommodating. . And omgsh, the fridge was HUGE and worked well for all my produce! The room was so clean and simple. I'm a housekeeper by profession, so the cleanliness standards exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd recommend is a chair in the corner for comfort since it's a very lonely space. Thanks for a great stay Motel 6. Looking forward to staying with you again.

Got a room. Opened the covers, and sheets were dirty. Switched rooms. New room's sheets were also dirty. (All covered in long black hair. I was grossed out.
Also the rooms smelled mildly of cigarette smoke and I had trouble falling asleep because of it.
Worst night ever.
Everything else was fine, but the things that were poor made my stay one of the worst nights of sleep of my life, so it doesn't really matter.

I had requested a room on the ground floor but upon arrival there were none available. the motel was almost empty. I also requested room service but that too didn't happen. not to happy for this location.

The shower took forever to get hot but then it was incredibly hot. There was no bathtub.

It is an older property which has been mainten well. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The room had tv, micowave and fridge. It was an excellent value for a one night stay for 2 weary travelers.

The air conditioner in the room did not work it was miserable most of the day and night. It was cooler outside than in our room.

The woman at the front desk wasn't very friendly. I was in a good mood when I walked in, not so much when I walked out less than 5 minutes later. I mistakenly heard her say that I had booked a smoking room, and I asked her for non-smoking. She snapped at me that that's what she had said. I apologized and explained that I had been in and out of the mountains all day and couldn't hear well. She asked for my ID and I accidentally dropped it when I handed it to her. Again, I apologized. The following "Must have been a long drive today" comment was unnecessary and rude. Yes, it was a long drive and I was very tired, if she really needed to know. I hope that she has a better day today and works out whatever she was going through last night.

The location was an easy on/easy off to Route 40, which was where we needed to go. In addition, there were a number of nice local "mom and pop" dining choices we took advantage of - Colonel Mustard and Studio 66 cafe, which were both outstanding.
