The room isn't huge; it's quite compact. However, for a twin room in a Hong Kong hotel, the beds are actually pretty spacious. On the downside, the ceiling height is extremely low. It felt really cramped as soon as I walked in, definitely lower than a standard hotel room. If you're over 1.8 meters tall, you'll feel like your head is almost touching the ceiling, which is a major inconvenience. The bathroom doesn't have a separate shower; you have to shower in the bathtub. Even for a woman around 1.6 meters tall, raising your arms slightly means you'll hit the ceiling in the shower area. For a man, it would likely be head-on. The air conditioning is also very noisy, so light sleepers should be aware. Besides these issues, the soundproofing is terrible; you can hear every word clearly when someone walks and talks outside your door. We were two people, so we booked a family twin room. The front desk gave us a connecting room, which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night – the security isn't great. On the bright side, the hotel is close to MOKO New Century Plaza, offering plenty of dining options, including popular places like Gyu-Kaku and Sen-ryo. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station and even closer to Mong Kok East station. The hotel doesn't provide international adaptors or bottled water, so you'll need to sort that out yourself. If you can overlook the low and cramped ceiling, it's a decent choice. At just over 700 HKD per night, it's half the price of a typical five-star hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui or Causeway Bay, so it offers great value for money. The service was also patient and helpful 👍
