Breathtaking views of the Pacific from every room and commanding view of Hualien from the lobby. The newly renovated lobby is stunning - we didn’t believe the lobby photos until we actually saw it in person. This resort is a real gem of Hualien and of ********* fengshui in general. The food quality was unexpectedly good, and I prefer the hotel’s twist on simple ********* favorites vs. their western style food. The only annoying thing is that you have to buy a swimming cap to use the pool, but the kids had a blast at the pool and taking in views from the hot tub.

Stayed one night, booked the package including access to marine park with breakfast. Arrived at 1330 and took the last free bus iMR 1400 to the marine park and spent a few hours watching the sea lion and dolphins. Back to the hotel to the room with fantastic with sea views. Hotel is huge, outdoor swimming pool was closed but great space to walk around and admire the sunset over the sea or back towards the mountains and Hualien city. Good buffet breakfast, busy but well organised - would definitely recommend for families with children.

This place is great, especially if you want to go to Ocean Park since they usually have packaged deals with free shuttle. Hotel sits on bill, so can’t really explore Hualien city but hotel itself is complete with all facilities for kids

In such a broken and difficult time in Hualien, it is not easy to maintain such high service quality and room cleanliness. No matter how busy the staff are, they will always stop and say hello. Even the Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons Hotel may not be able to do this. Arrived, the food is very delicious and attentive, the service staff is very diligent, and the cleaning is efficient. Overall it is a very good accommodation experience. I will visit again with my children in February.
Hualien has beautiful mountains, rivers and human touch. I hope everyone can visit Hualien more often.
