The room is bigger than the picture shown on the website. Good location, opposite the hotel has family mart,McDonald and KFC.. walk 3 mins and have breakfast shops. The hotel staff are very friendly.

This is a nice hotel. It is clean and welcoming.  I did not try the food there. The seaview is not really worth as it is too far from the sea, but the rooms are a good size. The staff were friendly. Just make sure you message the staff 24 hours in advance to book a free transfer. They would not provide a same day service. Overall, a good hotel. About 3km from downtown. I did not mind walking, but taxis are cheap.

I stayed here for a few days and can only recommend it! The train and bus stations are just a few steps away, and the city center is within walking distance. The room was spacious and comfortable, with many thoughtful touches such as free coffee, snacks, and even ice cream!

It was a great stay at HOLA Homestay! We booked the family room for our family of four, and was thrilled when we entered the cosy room on our first day. The balcony was facing the sea and we could see the sunrise from our bed! Before our stay, I already had a very good experience with the owner, who provided 5-star service to me, by helping me to make reservation at a famous restaurant (which only accepts phone reservations) and arrange for transport. He also helped us with the checks on whale watching tours etc. Breakfast was served hot just when we reached and with a spread, including local delicacies like gong zheng bao zi and scallion pancake, freshly roasted coffee, vege and fruits, and even bread and muffins if we wanted more. While we need to walk abit to the nearest 7-11, it was a comfortable walk in this cooling weather, just that it can get a little dark at night. Might still be better to get a taxi if possible. There’s a 055 seafood near the 7-11 which was really gd and frequented by locals too!

Quiet place. May be inaccessible but easy to get taxi. The breakfast choices are good, soybean is extremely awesome! Different from what we had back home in Singapore.

As a solo traveler, I couldn't help but appreciate the eerie vibes that the place exudes, especially since I'm a fan of horror. Every night, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere that perfectly catered to my taste. It's not often that you come across a hostel that provides such a unique and thrilling ambiance. Cleanliness is always a priority for me, and I was pleased to find that Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel did not disappoint in this aspect. The rooms were well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The convenient location of the hostel was also a major plus, making it easy for me to explore and enjoy everything that Hualien has to offer. It was absolutely fantastic! The host, David, is so kind and helpful in getting to know the island and answering all your questions. You can rent a scooter (including e-scooters, no license required) and explore the island. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition! I would love to come back here again.
