I stay at this hotel twice a week. I choose this Super-8 because I enjoy it's location, the staff are super friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great! In the rare event that I do have a problem, the staff always does anything and everything they can to correct it and make it right.

I don't know how new this is, but it seems really new. Everything was clean. We had a large room with an almost-separate living space and bedroom. The layout worked! Lots of light, lots of charging and outlets. The bed was comfy. HVAC seemed to work flawlessly. Overall the room was great. (We did have a weird issue where the toilet connection to the floor was loose - I'll have to trust they fixed that). Breakfast was actually pretty good! There were a few different selections, plenty of room, and the coffee was also decent. Overall, we would definitely choose this Fairfield Inn again!

I attended my granddaughter’s graduation at Mountain Health Arena in Huntington WV. Hotel is very nice and very convenient to the interstate. The room I had was quite large, beds and pillows very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Nice hot breakfast. The only complaint I had was it was a little noisy. I was on the second floor and could hear footsteps above me plus voices from adjacent rooms. Other than that, it was a good stay.
Doubletree by Hilton Huntington

While working in the area for several months, I had the pleasure of staying here. Even though the building is old (for a hotel), it's well kept and in the process of constant improvement. The room was well appointed and very comfortable & I had a beautiful view overlooking the Ohio River. The DoubleTree is located in an excellent spot downtown, with many dining, drinking, & shopping options within walking distance. I ate there quite a lot, and the breakfast buffet was delicious and staffed by very friendly servers. Bootleggers, the bar/restaurant, has a mid-sized menu that is varied and has something for everyone. There's a trivia night in the week and karaoke on Fri. nights. Those are a nice alternative to flipping channels. I can't say enough good things about the staff. After staying there for more than 70 nights, I came to know & like them rather well. I could list 15 names here (but won't) that each deserve recognition. Management is doing a great job ensuring you'll be treated well at the DoubleTree in Huntington, WV. -Billy

A good hotel if you’re here for business or a few days for later. The rooms are well equipped with sofas tables microwaves refrigerator sinks coffee maker. The decor is very modern, crisp and clean. The only challenge is that the walls are a little thin between the rims especially if you have a connecting room so be sure to ask for one that does not have a connecting door so you can have a little bit more quiet. The staff are all very friendly and the location is perfect if you need to do business at Marshall University or the surrounding areas.
