Hotel is nice, room big and comfortable. Food and drinks really good and amazing cafe with cookies. Staff really nice. Beach good for kitesurfing. Price that we get Was law for this standards. But..... My disapointet Was that we extra pay for room see view. We get 1176 at 1 st floor that in our opinion is pool view - sorry maybe from second floor is better. This is the reason why I dont want to give 5 stars ......

The staff have been very helpful. To name just a few of the staff that made our holiday great. The Lobby Bar, Amr was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Mohamed Ali from the pool bar was most helpful. Mr Mina from the Toucan Bar was very helpful.

So, this is a review of the hotel, but will start with the holiday as a whole.... Flight was ok, easyJet ran out of cards to fill in on the plane, so half the plane got through customs 30 minutes before the other half. The airport itself is a joke, full of angry men barking orders at everyone including women and children. Make sure you take a pen, they WILL NOT lend you one. Transfer there  was a death ride, got told multiple times to wear seatbelts only to find they had been chopped off on most seats. Transfer back was great.  At the hotel check in was fairly smooth, we were a family of 4 with 2 adult children, so 2 rooms. We were shown to our rooms which were superior sea view rooms.... Sadly this wasn't the case. The rooms were a poor standard, old and tired, missing curtains, no batteries in the TV or air con remote controls, cracks in tiles, dirty bedding and pillows. It was however 10pm, so we just went to bed.  We had the lovely guest relations team asked at the pool what we thought of the room the following morning, we told Safy and Mustafa (Who were both excellent) and they offered to move us. We ended up in the main building above the pool in 2 rooms that were next to each other, and much better decorated.  The hotel in general is a real mix... Some parts are nice and look clean and modern, other areas look a bit tired but they are carrying out lots of work to improve this. Food was generally ok, breakfast not so good for us but lunch and evening were fairly good.  The main pool was nice and warm, very busy and noisy... Music pumping out from 10am till 5pm which our daughters loved.  The sales guys around the pool were a bit of a nightmare... You couldn't just have 30 minutes peace without someone disturbing you. Even if you were asleep they would wake you up to try and sell you something.  Beach wasnt the best, could be nice but isn't at the moment. Sand is there one minute gone the next. Boulders and rubble everywhere and the sea wasn't really enticing to swim in. The most annoying thing was that the pool staff were reserving beds for people. this was really unfair, even at 7.30am most the beds were "reserved" by people willing to pay the pool staff. Ironic there is a big sign next to the hut with the pool rules, reserving beds is not allowed. We refused and found them to be very unfriendly, so probably in hindsight just pay them their commission and take the beds.  The Jazz bar was strange, wonderful room and well furnished but no jazz that we ever saw (or heard) and the occasional football game on. I would say better to change it to a sports bar as the downstairs bar already feels more jazz like.  The coffee bar on the ground floor is excellent, open 24 hours a day, great freshly made coffee and a selection of desserts. Staff in there were really friendly.  The entertainment team worked hard and were all great, good fun to talk to and made the trip much better than it would have been without them. We travelled here as a group of 3. We had two bungalows. The rooms were spacious enough and cleaned every day. There was also bottled water left in the room each day. The beach area was also nice. Sandy beach and a bar. The pool was great, however you did have to be up early to get a lounger right by the pool. The staff are fantastic at this hotel, always topping up your drinks, and checking everything is ok. They work very hard and are super friendly. Anamation team are fabulous, funny and seem to work 24 hours a day ! They are not over baring. Food is also ok. There is always a choice of meat, pasta, pizza and fish. Snack bar at lunch time has pizza, burgers and hot dogs. The patisserie was very good, ice cream was lovely. Only thing missing was an iced coffee ! We booked a trip to paradise island with the excursion team at the hotel, this was fantastic. We were picked up at the hotel, enjoyed an all day boat trip and dropped back off. Would recommend this. We also used Uber to visit hurghada marina and also el Gouna. Uber for a 30 min taxi ride is around £1 so it’s fantastic value for money. Both the marina and el Gouna were great to go out for dinner and drinks, very cheap and buy one get one free on a lot of cocktails. The 3 pyramids across the road from the hotel is great for snacks, juice and gifts. If you are looking for a relaxing week away, with great staff and a clean hotel this is a fab hotel. We have booked to come back this December !

I had the best stay at this hotel Ali from room 1300 and Raff the clearer from the swim up room was so nice and helpful. I also got help from 2 ladys one called saff and one called Helena they was great and was always willing to help. Saff stayed in contact with me when i was on hoilday to make sure everything was ok. We met some lovely people staying at this hotel the animation was great. I would come back and I fully recommend family suite It was beautiful xxxx

We are here now, 1 week into a 2 week holiday from UK, hotel is amazing, food great, beach is stunning, staff are so friendly and helpful, we booked the bungalow on the sea view with roof terrace amazing, room smelt of sewage called them They sorted it! Be warned if you’re a social media person then this hotel isn’t for you, lack of wi-fi here, if like us you need to keep in touch with family for health reasons think again, you can get wi-fi at reception, hit and miss by the main pool, but nothing in your rooms, wi-go outside for 3 days here, since then it’s been terrible, if you can live with out social then happy days, would we come back? Probably Not as we don’t return to the same hotel twice, but I would recommend this place, have to pay $80 to eat teppanyaki like we did, $20 each for Chinese, and the seafood is £5000 Egyptian pounds, you have one visit to the restaurants per stay, that’s to the Egyptian, and Italian, both very good though! It’s not all inclusive like Caribbean, where they serve martinis etc, very basic drinks here, no coffee liqueurs, bring plenty of sun cream as you will need it! Enjoy but remember no wi-fi here!

Firstly this review is honest. The problem why there is so many mix reviews will depend upon how well you’ve travelled if your used to four stars above, then you will definitely think this is a lot less. If you’re used to three stars below, you’ll think this is a five star and if this is the case this review won’t be for you. In my opinion this hotel is just touching three stars. On face value it seems more but there are many things wrong to get it to the four star in my opinion. If you are unlucky enough like ourselves to be placed on the back next to the building site then expect to be woken up at 4:30am from the mosque and 6am from the building works. We understood that this is out of the control of the hotel but asked if there is any other room we could move to at reception. The option we were given was the most expensive room in the whole hotel costing an extra £360. We did contemplate it as we needed to sleep and relax. However we were very lucky whilst on the pool side and a lady called Safi a customer relations person was walking around and asked if there was any problems. We explained the situation and she said let me look into this. She managed to move us to same standard room at no extra cost which we was very grateful for. The pool area is good, having multiple pools for kids and families and beach which gives the main pool plenty of space. The pool bar being right beside the main pool, where the waiters at times brings you your drinks if there not to busy. The alcohol itself is fine, it’s not petrol it’s just standard, however very limited and only a few spirits available. There is no premium brands and no option to buy any premium so it’s their own brand. The waiters are very adaptable and will make you different cocktails that isn’t on the menu if you ask within the means of what they have. The actual menu for cocktails are hit and miss and depends on who makes them with more experience. Entertainment, the staff do try their best to get everyone’s spirits up but the schedule is the same every day. We personally don’t think this is our sort of thing but having someone trying to get you to belly dance every day is abit odd. We cannot comment on the evening entertainment as it actually started really late, the kids side doesn’t start until 09:30 for an hour and the adult side at 10:30 so we just got bored watching the kids at that time. The negative side is there are entertainment staff or staff for hotel extras that come around constant when you are at the poolside when your trying to relax to ask you do you want a beauty spa, excursions etc which isn’t normally a problem but having it constant is annoying when you’ve already said no as there are many who do this and they also forget they asked. The food, we never went to the a la cart restaurant as we wasn’t explained on check in each one is only open certain days and very limited availability and has only one sitting per table.
