Bellagio Beach Resort & Spa

Hotel is nice, room big and comfortable. Food and drinks really good and amazing cafe with cookies. Staff really nice. Beach good for kitesurfing. Price that we get Was law for this standards. But..... My disapointet Was that we extra pay for room see view. We get 1176 at 1 st floor that in our opinion is pool view - sorry maybe from second floor is better. This is the reason why I dont want to give 5 stars ......

The staff have been very helpful. To name just a few of the staff that made our holiday great. The Lobby Bar, Amr was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Mohamed Ali from the pool bar was most helpful. Mr Mina from the Toucan Bar was very helpful.

So, this is a review of the hotel, but will start with the holiday as a whole.... Flight was ok, easyJet ran out of cards to fill in on the plane, so half the plane got through customs 30 minutes before the other half. The airport itself is a joke, full of angry men barking orders at everyone including women and children. Make sure you take a pen, they WILL NOT lend you one. Transfer there  was a death ride, got told multiple times to wear seatbelts only to find they had been chopped off on most seats. Transfer back was great.  At the hotel check in was fairly smooth, we were a family of 4 with 2 adult children, so 2 rooms. We were shown to our rooms which were superior sea view rooms.... Sadly this wasn't the case. The rooms were a poor standard, old and tired, missing curtains, no batteries in the TV or air con remote controls, cracks in tiles, dirty bedding and pillows. It was however 10pm, so we just went to bed.  We had the lovely guest relations team asked at the pool what we thought of the room the following morning, we told Safy and Mustafa (Who were both excellent) and they offered to move us. We ended up in the main building above the pool in 2 rooms that were next to each other, and much better decorated.  The hotel in general is a real mix... Some parts are nice and look clean and modern, other areas look a bit tired but they are carrying out lots of work to improve this. Food was generally ok, breakfast not so good for us but lunch and evening were fairly good.  The main pool was nice and warm, very busy and noisy... Music pumping out from 10am till 5pm which our daughters loved.  The sales guys around the pool were a bit of a nigh**are... You couldn't just have 30 minutes peace without someone disturbing you. Even if you were asleep they would wake you up to try and sell you something.  Beach wasnt the best, could be nice but isn't at the moment. Sand is there one minute gone the next. Boulders and rubble everywhere and the sea wasn't really enticing to swim in. The most annoying thing was that the pool staff were reserving beds for people. this was really unfair, even at 7.30am most the beds were "reserved" by people willing to pay the pool staff. Ironic there is a big sign next to the hut with the pool rules, reserving beds is not allowed. We refused and found them to be very unfriendly, so probably in hindsight just pay them their commission and take the beds.  The Jazz bar was strange, wonderful room and well furnished but no jazz that we ever saw (or heard) and the occasional football game on. I would say better to change it to a sports bar as the downstairs bar already feels more jazz like.  The coffee bar on the ground floor is excellent, open 24 hours a day, great freshly made coffee and a selection of desserts. Staff in there were really friendly.  The entertainment team worked hard and were all great, good fun to talk to and made the trip much better than it would have been without them. I chose the bellagio as the hotel for my stay in Egypt, to flee !!!! Very disappointed! A few weeks before I called them to say that there was a 3rd person who would be added to the room, that an extra bed would have to be added and that she would also take the package with meals, I was told not to worry, it would be an extra 60 euros per night. I arrived at 9pm on the day after my long flight and was asked to pay 120 euros per night, double what I had been told. When I spoke to the person in charge of reservations I asked her for an email with all this written down several times and she never sent me this email! There is a lack of communication in your hotel! And you put your customers through that ! The meals are not good, lots of extras in the restaurants ! Aggressive staff and no understanding at all in the 1 person apar**ent. For a 4-star hotel, stay away! It does not deserve 1 star! Very disappointed! Don't come if you're French, they'll try to rip you off!

Was there second time already, first time in February and when I was thinking about another vacation, Bellagio was number one where to go again 😊 Stuff there is very nice, when I had even slightest toruble, they solve it immediately with all the kindness. Also food is really good, rooms are nice on beach is enough sunbeds, drinks are nice, just everything is perfect ❤️ Looking forward to come back again 😊

I want to start this review by saying just WOW!!! This hotel exceeded my expectations in ever way possible. It was mine and my boyfriends first holiday together outside of the UK and we have had the best week. The negative reviews I have read are completely false and the staff go absolutely above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and happy. I would like to give some special shoutouts firstly to Sophie and Nasa for going out their way to cater for my gluten allergy, this will not be forgotten and I am extremely grateful. Ahmad at the pool bar and the other guys, again great service and Ahmad in particular was the nicest and kindest gentleman (who my boyfriend loved 🤣). Roma and Tona my friends from the entertainment team, they are hilarious and warm and make you feel so welcome. I can’t wait to see them again when we return. Aseem and Abanoub at the chill/Shisha bar provided impeccable service and it was great to get to know them. These staff are a credit to the hotel and make it what it is. And finally to all the staff in the restro buffet restaurant, by far my favourite waiters in the hotel and so funny too!! The hotel is clean, and our bungalow private room was a great location next to the beach and away from a lot of the noise. We cannot wait to come back to the hotel and wish everyone at the hotel the best, I absolutely have no faults.

The hotel and staff were friendly and they made you feel at home. We always enjoy food as it is tasty and well prepared. My family really enjoyed the animations team entertainment and the evening entertainment. The housekeeping staff also left little designs on our beds, which always brightened up the day.
