We stayed at Villa Giada two nights, the photos do not reflect reality, the rooms are much nicer than the photos, the decor of the rooms was very comfortable and modern. The housekeeping was very nice, there were gift sets, it was great to find the coffee maker in the room. There was everything we needed in the kitchenette, the utensils in the room prevented us from bringing from home having so many suitcases already. The restaurant service was very pleasant, very friendly staff and very good dishes. The indoor pool was great for our kids, we arrived one day when it was nice weather and the pool was very hot. We needed more blankets, we went to the front desk to ask for them and the staff was very nice. We added the spa for the whole family, it was fabulous, just a relaxing day. I loved these two nights, to get out of the routine it was great. No doubt we will be back.

We arrived at Villa Giada Resort on Thu 3rd August 2023 seeking accommodation after reception had closed. We had spent almost two hours searching for alternative accommodation having foregone our booking at another establishment in the region of Imperia, due to its inaccessibility to senior citizens. Fortunately, our despair was witnessed by (we believe) the Manager who was seated nearby. This lovely lady solved our dilemma by opening the office and the computer system to book us into a beautiful suite for the night. We were escorted to this room by another kind member of staff. We were extremely grateful for the compassion shown by both ladies and the generosity of not turning us away. We loved the resort, the view, the breakfast and the friendly staff, whose service was exemplary. Thank you so much!

It is a lovely resort, in a beautiful setting. The apartments are nicely spread and it never felt crowded. Whilst we enjoyed the diversity of the Italien cuisine also elsewhere, we frequently dined at the resort - NOT buffet but à la carte. Stunning setting, delicious food and very friendly service. Some let-downs to note: The facilities are available as described but most of them are of older generation and in need of maintenance. Cleanliness is the biggest disappointment. When we moved into the apartment dishes/ plates etc were clearly not properly washed, the balcony was not mobbed or maintained and did not invite any of us to sit outside despite best views over the mountains. Breakfast was ok but the buffet was partially „inaccessible“ due to the „counter service“. I can see the intention but it was counter productive. The choice was extremely limited and continental. Not to our taste. Coffee - in Italy from a Nespresso machine 🙈?! Entertainment for adults was not available during our stay and our kids never attended the evening “shows” as it was tailored to extremely young children and repetitive. The sports ground made up for it and was the place were the kids made friends. The atmosphere was mostly welcoming but far from the usual Italian family resort style. If you need assistance turn to Sara, she is always extremely helpful.

The appartment is pleasant and big enough even for the family of five. All views are beautiful as the complex is situated in the hills. Our stay was conciped as bed and breakfast, so we had only one family dinner in the restaurant, which was quite expensive, the rest of dinners was cooked by ourselves. Some nesessary kitchen equipment was missing but after asking we got everything almost immediatelly.

Nice place to stay. Beautiful appartments with adequate resources. Do not eat dinner here however. The stay was 200€ per night. We had to pay 15€ for parking which was not included for some reason. The dinner in the restsurant was v poor quality expensive (20€ for 5 low quality prawns) . Dinner cost us 80€ extra. Due to the food the stay was too expensive for what you get (300€ for a day). But solely the appartments and resort were good.

I recommend it for mountain bikers, the room is very wide for bikes and there are also hooks for accessories. They advise you well on the routes. Breakfast is a sweet and savory buffet to start the day off right with unlimited hot drinks.

Finally a real bike resort with all the requests for the needs of those who have a mountain bike. We had hooks in the room to hang bikes and accessories, fantastic! At the reception they will advise you on which room to choose. And then we very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet with unlimited hot drinks. All the staff are really nice.

We love the ligurian region. That's why we chose Villa Giada. They offer many exclusive services, you can rent bikes on site at a fair price. We have booked an e-bike excursion with local guide to Valloria as lovers of cycling tourism, The ala carte restaurant is also very good, with lots of choices of wines and a menu with typical and good quality dishes. It was a good experience and we will definitely be back.

Do you like dirt, rust, mould, and fungus? If yes, this resort is perfect for you! The hotel facilities are old, dirty and dilapidated with mould stains everywhere. The parking looks like a proper dumping site. The swimming pool looks as if it had not been renovated since 1970 with broken shields and tiles; old and torn umberllas are in every corner of the resort. The rooms are smelly and dirty - with no soap or toilet paper; not cleaned, towels never changed even if you stay for 7 days. But the best is still to come - there is no service whatsoever at the hotel. The cleaning staff is no existent and the waiters are children below/over 20 who, when asked for a piece of bread, will carry it on hand (yes!). No wonder they charged for extra drinks and food that we had not ordered and added to our bill. Furthermore, there is no sanitising gel or other measures against covid. Our complaints and requests made at the reception were ignored. We stayed there with three children who were looking forward to holidays at the sea and swimming pools, but even our kids were disgusted with the place. It is not Italy you would like to see or remember. Stay away! The hotel is really terrible! Che schifo!
