Dumaguete Hotels with Wifi

First trip to dumaguete and we could not have chosen a better hotel. It opened only 2 weeks before we stayed. It was clean and the location was excellent. The staff were all really nice especially Benedict and Mario. They both were very nice and both took initiative to check if we needed any assistance. The professionalism of the staff displayed shows a lot about the management wherein they value their customers and put service before anything else.

The hotel was clean and smelled lovely throughout. The common areas for activities were small, so taking a stroll to digest after a meal wasn't really an option. The air diffuser in the room was on, so if you find the scent too strong, remember to turn it off. It's only a little over a kilometer from the airport, but quite a distance from the city center (Boulevard, Silliman University) 🥲. So, city walking on foot isn't really feasible. However, the hotel front desk can help you book a 'tutu' (tricycle taxi) using a ride-hailing app, and the prices are fair and transparent. The hotel is located down a small lane off the main road, and then down an even smaller lane. After dark, there are streetlights, pedestrians, and vehicles, so it's quite lively. If you can't avoid walking at night, it's not too scary. I stayed in the 'Pig House' room. It wasn't very big, the bathroom was tiny, and the bed was super soft. If there are mosquitoes, you can ask the front desk for mosquito repellent spray, which is free. There was a live singer in the evenings, who was quite good. I enjoyed a session of Filipino male singers (with a falsetto voice) 👍. Listening to their falsetto while lounging by the pool was incredibly relaxing. For breakfast, you can choose one Western or one Filipino dish, then select a rice option and an egg option. Coffee and juice are available at the self-service counter.

A nice large unit with kitchen. Pool and nice location easy to catch a tryk for a couple USD to nearly anywhere. No elevator is tough if your second or third floor but still a good valie for the money. It's not 4 or 5 star due to the age and conditions but it's very doable. BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE, WATER WAS WARM+++ I would definitely stay there again!

Great hotel close to the airport in Dumaguete. Simple rooms but had plenty of amenities available including room service. The pool was the perfect addition to get a little swim in before our flight the next morning. Staff was great and facilities were clean!

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. The staff is incredibly attentive, courteous, and caring. We stayed for four days and discovered a lot of hair on the bathroom floor upon check-in, but we didn't bother. A major drawback was the non-functioning bathroom fan, which allowed a lot of mosquitoes into the room, and the staff didn't have any mosquito repellent. The hotel has a swimming pool on the third floor; it's very small, and they don't provide pool towels or lounge chairs. The lounge and smoking area is on the second floor. Breakfast is Filipino, with English breakfast available for an additional fee. Each floor has a water dispenser with hot and cold water, and the room has cups, tea, coffee, and sugar. We booked a tricycle to the airport at reception for 150 pesos.

Great hotel, although small, similar to the domestic Hanting 7-day chain, but very clean, the hotel is very new, provides simple washing supplies, although the room is not large, but as a transit hotel for island hopping, the price is quite good Tall rooms have a lot of hot water, and split air conditioners are not the kind of noisy window machines. This is good, and the rest is good! The road is outside but not too noisy, acceptable! Service is OK, warm! Overall cost-effective, recommended!

Gabby's Bed and Breakfast is an absolute gem, particularly excelling in its unique and charming aesthetic design, which makes every corner of the place feel colorful, cozy, and homey. The wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, and delicious food (especially the breakfast) make for a truly enjoyable stay, offering a peaceful and quiet retreat. However, the one notable drawback is the location, as it is situated a bit further from the main city center and popular spots like the Rizal Boulevard, meaning you'll need to rely on local transport for most of your sightseeing trips, which can add a slight inconvenience to an otherwise perfect experience.

The hotel overall was great, and we truly appreciated how approachable and friendly the staff were—excellent service throughout our stay. However, the amenities could use some improvement. For a king-size bed, having four pillows would be more comfortable, and additional towels would be a nice touch as well. Small upgrades like these would really elevate the guest experience. Location is very convenient also, close to resto and boulevard.

All in all good value for little money, its cheap so dont expect much. The family room has no windows and our door key card did not work (2x needed assistance to open the door). Only one key card for 4 persons. The receptionist and guard are very friendly and helpful

The place is quiet, good for people who like relaxation in a tranquil environment. The room is okay, I got a small ne but it was enough for me since I came as a solo. However, I don‘t understand why it was so hard to hail a tricycle going to this place, no matter how near it actually is. Even the tricycles from there won‘t pick you up even when it‘s not yet fully occupied. So far my stay was good. I was able to work in my room, I just wished they have something like a study table where guests who needs to work remotely can work. Also, it would be nice if you know how to drive a motorbike and hold a driver‘s license. Cause going to the places there back in forth can be really hard when commuting only, unlike when you can rent a motorbike, you can go anywhere, anytime without a hassle.
