夏の気配もすっかり消えて寒くなり、何処か温泉に入れてかつ安い宿に泊まりに行きたい気分だなぁと思って色々探していたら伊東のこの宿を見つけ、GoToキャンペーンを利用して宿泊。素泊まり・バス、トイレ付き客室・貸切風呂利用権つきで4700円ほどでした。 まず、立地は最高といっていいでしょう。伊東駅から徒歩5分圏内、周辺には豊富な飲食店。館内での食事がなくても不便さは感じません。もう少し足を伸ばして海沿いの道路を15分くらい歩けばコンビニやドンキホーテ、道の駅なんかもあったりして、万が一忘れ物をした時の急な買い出しや、お土産の物色もできます。宿から道路を挟んで向かい側はすぐ海で、オレンジビーチという海水浴場になっています。夏に海水浴に伊東に来ようと思ってる人には、この宿の立地の良さが更に際立つ事と思います。 さて、気になる中身ですが、老舗というだけあって、ぱっと見の外観の印象は結構というかだいぶ古く、海沿いに建っていることもあり潮風にさらされ外壁が痛んで見える為少々不安になります。調べたところ50年ほど前に建てられた建物を増改築を繰り返して現在に至っているようです。公式ホームページにも建物の外観をはっきり写した写真を見た記憶がなかったので、いざ初めてその姿を見ると一瞬「えっ、アレなの？」と言う印象を抱きますが、一歩中に足を踏み入れたらロビーは綺麗なので安心です。更に、「この道うん十年」というような貫禄たっぷりなフロント係のおじさん達が温かく出迎え、とっても丁寧に受付と館内の説明をしてくださいます。 部屋まではエレベーターか階段で向かいます。私の部屋は上層階だったので、エレベーターに乗ります。雑居ビルにあるような小さなエレベーターが一機あるだけなので、このご時世「密」を気にする人には気になるかもしれません。 エレベーターを降りると、目の前にはなんとも味のある木目のドアが並んでいて、それが客室への入り口になっています。そのドアをコレまたなんとも味のある、「かめや」の名に因んだ「亀」を象ったプラスチックのキーホルダーのついたシリンダーキーで開けて中へ。 お部屋は畳敷き、広さにして10畳の和室です。やはり古いのか歩くとちょっとミシミシ言います。でもちゃんと綺麗にお掃除が行き届いているのでさほど気になりません。部屋に漂う畳の香りが気分を落ち着かせてくれます。広い空間に一人でいるせいもあるのかもしれませんが、保温性はあまり良くないなか少々肌寒く感じる事があります。エアコンがついているので軽く暖房を入れようとしましたが、残念ながら客側で冷房・暖房の切り替えは出来ない設定にされていました。季節の変わり目の微妙な気温の時期に行くときは、ある程度温度調節の出来る格好で行った方が良いかもしれません。 バス・トイレも付いていて、トイレはキチンとウォシュレット付きの水洗便所と、現代に対応しています。浴衣、タオル、バスマットなどのアメニティ類は一通り揃っており、その他電気ポット、グラス、栓抜きなんかも置いてありました。窓の外は相模湾が一望できる、いわゆるオーシャンビューです。生憎の天気でしたが、ふとした晴れ間に虹を見ることができました。 私が泊まった6階の部屋のすぐ向かいには、大浴場「銀河」がありました。チェックイン開始から深夜の2時ごろまでは男湯、それ以降は女湯となる時間での入れ替え制。別館地下にあるもう一方の大浴場「深海」と、交互に男女の利用時間が入れ替わるシステムになっています。今回は「銀河」のみ利用しましたが、良くも悪くも昔ながらの大浴場で、大浴場と言う割にはそれほど広いわけでもないという感じで、イマイチ面白みがないと言えばそうかもしれません。景色は山側を向いており、伊東の街並みを見渡すことができます。 貸し切り風呂は、チェックインの際に２種類の中から選びます。一つは屋根ありの展望風呂「ぐんじょうの湯」、もう一つは屋上の露天風呂「まんてんの湯」で、どちらに入るか希望を伝えた後、時間を決めます。時間設定は1時間おきになっていて、予約した時間の10分くらい前になるとお風呂の準備が出来ましたよとフロントの人が部屋に内線をかけてお知らせをしてくれます。そうしたらフロントまで鍵を受け取りに行き、予約した時間から45分以内に入浴を済ませ、鍵をフロントに返すというシステムになっています。45分以内で済ませるという点は、人によって長いと感じるか短いと感じるか、結構分かれると思います。 今回私は露天風呂「まんてんの湯」に入りました。良い感じにひんやりと冷たい空気の中で、屋根のない場所で、夜の海を眺めながら温泉に浸かる体験は心地よいものでした。晴れた日には星空も眺めることができて更に素敵なものになるに違いないでしょう。こちらの貸し切り風呂は割と後になって作られたものなのか、新しめの印象で綺麗でした。が、脱衣所の洗面所の天井に蜘蛛が巣を張っていてそれもその上で元気に動き回っていたのは少しなんとかして欲しかったかも。 総評としましては、首都圏から程よい距離にあって、古き良き日本の温泉宿を、手頃な値段で味わえる、という点ではとても良い宿だったと思います。 プランによって泊まることのできるお部屋だったり、入ることの出来るお風呂は様々ですので、事前にしっかり確認をして予約する事が大事です。バス・トイレなしという訳あり部屋なんかもあるそうなので、安さを重視する人はその辺も気をつけた方が良いかもしれません。

There is also a hot spring area so you can relax. Now it seems normal to park in the second parking lot (plane) a little far from the first parking lot (mechanical parking lot). But please note that it is a little far away. Well, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, so it's a good plan for traveling alone, and I think it's good because you can relax. If you want to luxury, there are various plans, so I think it is good to choose and stay.

I used it for a few days back, but I stayed for the first time. It is convenient to use the day-trip hot spring hall after checking out on the day of the stay. The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.

After exiting the station, walk about 500 meters to the right, pass AEON, after 7-11, and go uphill on the right side to the hotel. Very standard traditional ryokan, the surrounding environment is nothing fancy, standard small town scenery. But if you want to soak in the hot springs in the hot spring hotel in the morning and evening, try fresh fish dishes, drink wine and eat snacks in the hotel to relax, it is a very good choice. Every clerk is very polite and has a natural smile, which makes people feel very relaxed. You can also choose netflix, youtube, etc. in the room, watch movies, listen to music, very suitable for weekend stay and relaxation.

We spent one night here but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel gives a very tranquil feel with unique Japanese way of garden design outside the lobby lounge and nice view from our room. Both dinner and breakfast were the best during this holiday and were taken to our sizeable room with every items explained. In addition, complimentary ice cream was offered at the lounge after dinner. Onsen was very nicely maintained.

The extremely helpful staff pick you up from the station and explain everything about this traditional Ryokan hotel. The onsen hot springs are lovely (bear in mind nakedness is obligatory), the rooms are clean, if dated, and we especially liked the complimentary Japanese robes and the traditional breakfast. It's not too far to walk to the main part of Ito town and the seaside.

[Good place] You can enjoy the ocean view from the room because it is in front of you. I was impressed that the moon looked brighter and more beautiful than I imagined. It looked very bright and bright, completely different from the moon that I usually see, and the moonlight reflected dazzlingly on the water surface of the sea and was very fantastic. The refrigerator in the room was large, the freezer functioned properly, and it was important to cool various things. [A little more] I was worried about the dirt of the window. I thought I could clean it easily with water and scrapers, so I wanted to clean it so that I could enjoy the ocean view. The dishes are not available or not except abalone. I was expecting the sea, but the sashimi was made to feel the level of three points that were sold cheaply in the supermarket. There are interesting and beautiful beach views in East Izumba where you can swim, soak in hot springs and enjoy a gourmet meal. My kids love the beach very much, I love the hotel, the waiters, especially Mr. Inari, who speaks very fluent English and is very helpful, polite and friendly. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the train station, which is very useful for guests with luggage considering the hilly terrain of the small town, and the hotel also offers enough bath towels, parasols and beach chairs to take to the beach across the street all day. There is also an outdoor small shower before returning to the hotel lobby, where you can wash the sand off your body first. The hotel lobby also provides sandals that can be taken to the beach. Although the sand on the beach is soft, it is very hot after the sun is shining, and slippers are very necessary. Each room has a stunning sea view, and there are plenty of food in the fridge, including bottled water and Asahi beer. Our meals are private dining, friendly, lovely waitress who can meet all our needs, serve us very professionally, and introduce us to Japanese dining etiquette. After we go to breakfast, the hotel attendants will come to our room, take the Japanese mattress away, and then set up the living area, and when we go to dinner, they will come and put the mattress for us. Every afternoon, we will prepare ice water and snacks. They don't mind us bringing sand back from the beach, but they will help us clean it up quickly. The hot springs are very beautiful, indoor and outdoor, both male and female, and you can see the seaside scenery. There is a convenience store next to the hotel where you can buy coffee, snacks and lunch. In the evening, you can set off fireworks by the sea and children can play video games. The whole community is very safe and is a local resident. It would be better if there was no online network in the room, but, in short, we could focus more on playing and resting without the network.

First of all, a hotel with a similar name called ”Hotel Ambient Izu Kogen” is about １ kilometers away, and the location of this ”Hotel Ambient Izu Kogen Annex” is difficult to understand. It doesn't come out even in the car navigation system. And is the entrance here? It is in a place called (see photo). The facility looks like a studio apartment has been remade into a hotel. To be honest, stains and scratches on the walls and carpets are old (the impression is that it is so old that it pulls so far and it is far beyond the renovation time). The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The bath is ok. It is convenient to have activities facilities such as Izu Grand Pal Park, Mt. Omuro, and Izu Shaboten Zoo nearby (car is required). The correspondence of the staff 々 including the front desk was good. I have the impression that it is not old.

Breakfast is not a buffet. There are free hot springs, but there are more people. And it's completely naked... After 12 o'clock in the evening, the hotel is empty because the location is already very biased. When I went to the front desk at night, there was no one at the front desk, only a bear.
