Kameya-Rakan ★★★
"Location was convenient, very near the train/bus station. Concierge staff was able to converse in basic english which made it way easier for us and they were all very nice. The room was so spacious and the view from our room was amazing!!! It was actually peaceful to just sit and stare out of the window. The toilet was spacious enough too. We did not use the onsens avail in the hotel but they also had a family onsen room that was free for use for anyone as long as its available and it works just like a private onsen, but free! I absolutely loved our room and would definitely recommend & also hope to return someday 💕"
Akazawa Onsen Hotel ★★★★
"It's about a ten-minute drive from Izu Kogen Station. The hotel is quite large, divided into several areas, ranging from luxury to economy. We booked a Japanese-style suite in the main building with a great view. The hotel has many free facilities that you can check on the map and experience one by one. The hot spring facility next door has an open-air bath. Soaking in the hot springs by the moonlit sea at night was very relaxing, with the constant sound of the waves. The breakfast included sashimi and various snacks, which was quite rich, but the selection was almost identical for two consecutive days. I'm giving three stars for service, specifically for the front desk. This hotel has quite a few Indian staff members. So why only three stars? The 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of the hotel all have scenic ocean view rooms, but Chinese guests are always assigned to the 5th floor or rooms near the elevator. Having stayed at many hotels, I can sense the subtle discrimination and differential treatment here. If the price booked through Ctrip is lower than what Japanese tourists pay, then disregard my comment. Finally, this hotel is very family-friendly, perfect for those with children. If you prefer quiet, a hotel of this size won't be quiet at all; you should choose a smaller onsen ryokan instead."
Hotel yoshino ★★★
"Room is a bit old, but still very clean. Price is very good with dinner and breakfast."
Hotel Redent Ito ★★
"The room was spacious, very clean, and well-lit, with complete amenities including Japanese yukata. There was also a microwave available, and the in-room facilities were comprehensive. Housekeeping did a great job, and the location is excellent, close to both the beach and Ito Station."
Laforet Ito Onsen Yunoniwa ★★★★
"The room was spacious and came with a private hot spring bath. Just a heads up, you'll need to pay extra for disposable toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs, so it's best to bring your own – which we did. It had a nice mix of a Japanese-style living room and a Western-style bed, offering plenty of space for our belongings. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station, and we also found most of the dining options near there. We didn't go to the public outdoor onsen since we had a child with us, but it seemed popular with locals. The service was quite good, though they weren't very prompt in replenishing used towels and water bottles."
Mori no Yu Izu Kogen Kira no Sato [Renewal Opening: December 22, 2025] ★★★★★
"I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast and dinner are excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Love the private hot spring in my room. The hotel provides free refreshments at different time slots. Love the ramen session. The hotel also provides shuttle to and from the station which is very thoughtful. Will definitely come again."
Ito Kowakien ★★★★
"offer ito station pick up from 2-6pm and drop off by 10am. not comfortable to make bed in japanese style room"
Floral Hotel · Sakura-zaka Onsen (Izu Kogen Omuroyama) ★★★★
"Facilities: The hotel is newly opened and the facilities are quite comprehensive. There's a free hot spring and shuttle service (just call the number on Ctrip). Hygiene: The hygiene is pretty good. No mosquitoes or bugs, so it's quite comfortable to stay here. Service: The grandpa and uncle provided excellent service. They're Chinese and very welcoming. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance."
Ito Yukitei ★★★★
"The hotel is located in Ito City, opposite the Lawson supermarket, which is convenient for travel. The hotel is quiet, whether it is a private bath or a large bath, the hotel's service is very satisfactory."

Smart Stay ITO 301
"When I arrived, at 7 o'clock in the evening, the staff still helped open the apartment door, the service was very good, the surrounding supermarket seafood and Heniu were very good."
Hotel Ito Powell
"The room faces the sea and is very large. It has a double bed and a tatami. When I arrived on the first morning, I sat on the bed and watched the sunrise. I was very touched by the service. I enjoyed hot spring baths every day and lived a comfortable life. It is close to Ito Station and the route is convenient. There is a Yokoji Line in front of the hotel. Turn left and there is a McDonald's. Turn right. 7-11 and a large supermarket and duty-free shop"
Oyado Ichigonie27
"The hosts were super friendly and welcomed in front of the alley to the hostel. They were kind and answering messages quickly. The hostel is located near the JR station so it was convenient. The neighbourhood is a small town; and not many restaurants or tourist spots located so I enjoyed the quiet night. The restaurants that the hosts recommended were Chuka food restaurant; Taiwan style foods were super cheap and delicious. I was travelling to Ito city but I felt that staying at a hostel one station from Ito Station was an excellent choice. I was heard that people mostly book from Airbnb app, and I am the trip.com user. Hope a lot more people can see this and book this warm welcoming hostel."
Hotel Dankoen
"Clean and tidy"
Abba Resorts Izu - Zagyosoh
"Very satisfied. Food and accommodation are very good."
Toushinan Komeya
"The room received a low rating. The size, cleanliness, and neatness of the room were fine, but there was a constant noise of feet stepping on the floor. The kitchen was next door, so it was unclear whether the sound was from employees or from the room above. Also, light from the hallway filtered in through the shoji screen by the bed, preventing complete darkness when I went to bed and making my sleep shallow. I checked in in the evening, and the fluorescent lights were on, so I didn't realize it, but the room barely let in any sunlight. It wasn't until I realized that the room was designed to let in light from the hallway unless the fluorescent lights were turned on at 9 a.m. that it was pitch black. There was a bay window and another window, but the exterior was covered to prevent visibility from outside and to prevent the main building's external piping from being seen, which was why no light was allowed in. The open-air bath in the room was nice, but the insect repellent installation method needs to be reconsidered. The large public bath, both indoors and outdoors, was too hot to bathe in. I tried massaging the water, but it didn't help. The portion size for dinner seemed small, but I think that's because the rice dish you could choose to have cooked in was served in a rice bowl rather than in a rice container. On the other hand, breakfast was served in a rice container and you could have more rice, so I was full. It was my first time trying the Yonaki Soba noodles served at Dormy Inn, and it was delicious. Overall, it was a nice inn except for the room, but I would never stay in that room again."
Ito Ryokuyu
"The room was very nice, and the drinks in the refrigerator were free. The service was very good, and I received a small gift at the end. It was a very good stay. I went to Izu and Hakone. The location of this hotel is also good."
Omuro No Mori Gyokusui -Adult Only-
"This was my first time staying here, and it was as good as I expected. First of all, the view from the room was great, and the temperature of the open-air bath, which was fed directly from the source, was just right. There were also two rooms, each with an air conditioner, and since I get hot easily, I was the only one who was able to sleep in the Japanese-style room with the temperature set low. The espresso coffee provided in the room was also delicious. However, since the view from the room was so good, I think it would have been better to have meals in the room rather than in a private room."
Hoshino Resorts Kai Ito
"I booked this hotel because it was under the Hoshino Group. The hotel is in a good location, not far from the station. But overall it was not as good as expected. The dinner was very average. The worst thing was that there was a mess of quilts in the closet of the room. The moment I opened the closet, it was really hard to describe. I complained to the front desk, and the apology was good. I thought at least someone would come to clean it up, but nothing was done."
lenessa jougasaki
"It's a bit out of the way, a 10-minute walk from the bus. However, the owner was very friendly and proactively asked guests if they needed to go to the convenience store or attractions. The room was spacious, and there was a saltwater hot spring to soak in. The breakfast buffet offered both Japanese and Western options, but reservations were required. It was delicious and highly recommended!"
Ito Hotel Juraku
"Located halfway up a mountain! Excellent service! The room rate includes dinner and breakfast, both buffet style! Delicious food! Separate nude hot spring baths for men and women! Very comfortable! Spacious rooms! Wide sea view! I felt very relaxed here!"
Hotel Village Izukogen
"A family resort utilized by locals. Location more accessible with cars or taxi and surrounding no convenience store. But nice and serene and great views. Large apartment style rooms with western bed n tatami beds. But tatami needs to set up by yourself and the mattress too thin for my aching back. My room has 1 toilet and 1 bathroom but the toilet has no hand soap which I consider not convenient. Buffet dinner is ok, good variety with sashimi, sushi, grilled beef, tempura and local dishes, but taste wise just normal. I think their buffet breakfast is much better with super nice french toast and other choices of curry, salad, ham, bacons, veg. Facilities wise there's a beautiful public onsen looking over the hills n ocean a far, beautiful nightscape. They have indoor swimming pool, table tennis and a spa. A great getaway for family"
Luxury Wa Hotel Kaze No Kaori
"It's about a three-hour drive from Tokyo. It's located on a road facing the ocean, so it's easy to find. I booked the "Esthetic 60" plan through the Ikyu reservation site, which includes a 60-minute Balinese aroma treatment. There are 20 rooms in total. This time, I stayed on the top floor, the 8th floor, which features a private bar area offering drinks and snacks 24 hours a day. Other added perks include unlimited drinks at dinner and breakfast, and ramen for late-night snacks—a fantastic deal for those who enjoy alcohol. While the room has an open-air bath, there are also two other private baths, which you can check availability and use at any time. There's also a private sauna on the top floor, which costs an additional 3,000 yen per hour. Dinner and breakfast are both delicious. They even offer a convenient way to take dessert home with you after dinner to enjoy in your room, which was a nice touch. I visited on a weekday, and the price for a night for two people was just over 100,000 yen. Considering the content, I think it was a great deal, so I would definitely like to visit again if I have the opportunity."
Southern Cross Resort
"I am very satisfied. The bath closes early at 7:00 AM, but the water was excellent. The view of Mount Fuji from the room was beautiful, which was wonderful."
Kamenoi Hotel Izukogen
"Perfect sea view and great hotel facilities."
Hoshino Resorts Kai Anjin
"My stay at Hoshino Resorts Anjin was absolutely delightful. Checking in felt ceremonial, as we received 'boarding passes' that resembled ship tickets. The entire hotel, from its location and layout to the interior design, guest rooms, furnishings, and even the activity schedule, beautifully embodies a nautical theme. The tranquil atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. In the afternoons, you can head to the deck terrace for complimentary craft beer and enjoy the sunset. After a soothing soak in the hot spring in the evening, I loved putting on an old record on the turntable in the lobby and sipping on a homemade vanilla tea – it was incredibly relaxing. We stayed two nights, and both dinners were unique and exceptional. The restaurant thoughtfully separates each group of guests, ensuring excellent privacy. The hotel staff were warm and attentive; they even saw us off at the door after check-out and helped us take commemorative photos, leaving us with a truly wonderful impression."
