夏の気配もすっかり消えて寒くなり、何処か温泉に入れてかつ安い宿に泊まりに行きたい気分だなぁと思って色々探していたら伊東のこの宿を見つけ、GoToキャンペーンを利用して宿泊。素泊まり・バス、トイレ付き客室・貸切風呂利用権つきで4700円ほどでした。 まず、立地は最高といっていいでしょう。伊東駅から徒歩5分圏内、周辺には豊富な飲食店。館内での食事がなくても不便さは感じません。もう少し足を伸ばして海沿いの道路を15分くらい歩けばコンビニやドンキホーテ、道の駅なんかもあったりして、万が一忘れ物をした時の急な買い出しや、お土産の物色もできます。宿から道路を挟んで向かい側はすぐ海で、オレンジビーチという海水浴場になっています。夏に海水浴に伊東に来ようと思ってる人には、この宿の立地の良さが更に際立つ事と思います。 さて、気になる中身ですが、老舗というだけあって、ぱっと見の外観の印象は結構というかだいぶ古く、海沿いに建っていることもあり潮風にさらされ外壁が痛んで見える為少々不安になります。調べたところ50年ほど前に建てられた建物を増改築を繰り返して現在に至っているようです。公式ホームページにも建物の外観をはっきり写した写真を見た記憶がなかったので、いざ初めてその姿を見ると一瞬「えっ、アレなの？」と言う印象を抱きますが、一歩中に足を踏み入れたらロビーは綺麗なので安心です。更に、「この道うん十年」というような貫禄たっぷりなフロント係のおじさん達が温かく出迎え、とっても丁寧に受付と館内の説明をしてくださいます。 部屋まではエレベーターか階段で向かいます。私の部屋は上層階だったので、エレベーターに乗ります。雑居ビルにあるような小さなエレベーターが一機あるだけなので、このご時世「密」を気にする人には気になるかもしれません。 エレベーターを降りると、目の前にはなんとも味のある木目のドアが並んでいて、それが客室への入り口になっています。そのドアをコレまたなんとも味のある、「かめや」の名に因んだ「亀」を象ったプラスチックのキーホルダーのついたシリンダーキーで開けて中へ。 お部屋は畳敷き、広さにして10畳の和室です。やはり古いのか歩くとちょっとミシミシ言います。でもちゃんと綺麗にお掃除が行き届いているのでさほど気になりません。部屋に漂う畳の香りが気分を落ち着かせてくれます。広い空間に一人でいるせいもあるのかもしれませんが、保温性はあまり良くないなか少々肌寒く感じる事があります。エアコンがついているので軽く暖房を入れようとしましたが、残念ながら客側で冷房・暖房の切り替えは出来ない設定にされていました。季節の変わり目の微妙な気温の時期に行くときは、ある程度温度調節の出来る格好で行った方が良いかもしれません。 バス・トイレも付いていて、トイレはキチンとウォシュレット付きの水洗便所と、現代に対応しています。浴衣、タオル、バスマットなどのアメニティ類は一通り揃っており、その他電気ポット、グラス、栓抜きなんかも置いてありました。窓の外は相模湾が一望できる、いわゆるオーシャンビューです。生憎の天気でしたが、ふとした晴れ間に虹を見ることができました。 私が泊まった6階の部屋のすぐ向かいには、大浴場「銀河」がありました。チェックイン開始から深夜の2時ごろまでは男湯、それ以降は女湯となる時間での入れ替え制。別館地下にあるもう一方の大浴場「深海」と、交互に男女の利用時間が入れ替わるシステムになっています。今回は「銀河」のみ利用しましたが、良くも悪くも昔ながらの大浴場で、大浴場と言う割にはそれほど広いわけでもないという感じで、イマイチ面白みがないと言えばそうかもしれません。景色は山側を向いており、伊東の街並みを見渡すことができます。 貸し切り風呂は、チェックインの際に２種類の中から選びます。一つは屋根ありの展望風呂「ぐんじょうの湯」、もう一つは屋上の露天風呂「まんてんの湯」で、どちらに入るか希望を伝えた後、時間を決めます。時間設定は1時間おきになっていて、予約した時間の10分くらい前になるとお風呂の準備が出来ましたよとフロントの人が部屋に内線をかけてお知らせをしてくれます。そうしたらフロントまで鍵を受け取りに行き、予約した時間から45分以内に入浴を済ませ、鍵をフロントに返すというシステムになっています。45分以内で済ませるという点は、人によって長いと感じるか短いと感じるか、結構分かれると思います。 今回私は露天風呂「まんてんの湯」に入りました。良い感じにひんやりと冷たい空気の中で、屋根のない場所で、夜の海を眺めながら温泉に浸かる体験は心地よいものでした。晴れた日には星空も眺めることができて更に素敵なものになるに違いないでしょう。こちらの貸し切り風呂は割と後になって作られたものなのか、新しめの印象で綺麗でした。が、脱衣所の洗面所の天井に蜘蛛が巣を張っていてそれもその上で元気に動き回っていたのは少しなんとかして欲しかったかも。 総評としましては、首都圏から程よい距離にあって、古き良き日本の温泉宿を、手頃な値段で味わえる、という点ではとても良い宿だったと思います。 プランによって泊まることのできるお部屋だったり、入ることの出来るお風呂は様々ですので、事前にしっかり確認をして予約する事が大事です。バス・トイレなしという訳あり部屋なんかもあるそうなので、安さを重視する人はその辺も気をつけた方が良いかもしれません。

Also, although there is no indoor bath, there is a large communal bath, so there is no problem. The large communal bath changes daily, but both are large baths and have good hot water. There is also a hot spring area so you can relax. Now it seems normal to park in the second parking lot (plane) a little far from the first parking lot (mechanical parking lot). But please note that it is a little far away. Well, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, so it's a good plan for traveling alone, and I think it's good because you can relax. If you want to luxury, there are various plans, so I think it is good to choose and stay.

I used it for a few days back, but I stayed for the first time. It is convenient to use the day-trip hot spring hall after checking out on the day of the stay. The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.

Great value for money. It is very close to Atami Station, a 5-minute walk, very convenient. After exiting the JR station, turn left and walk straight ahead (passing the bus station, there is a Family Mart opposite). Self check-in, remember to ask the staff for a kettle when checking in, as there is no one in the room; disposable items such as toothbrushes and cups can be obtained from the elevator. However, breakfast is a small sandwich and coffee, which is not full and is not recommended. You can store your luggage in the hotel before check-in (automatic luggage box on the first floor). The MOA Art Museum can be reached directly by bus in front of the hotel, but it is still recommended to go to Atami Station to take the bus, otherwise there may be no seats. The staff is rather cold-faced and unenthusiastic. Another bad thing is that on the way from Atami Station to the hotel, you will pass by a heavenly burial ground, which is a bit unlucky~ Everything else is perfect~

Kanpo no yado, one of the good hotels around the Atami area, is a great place to stay for relaxation & well being. Upon arriving at the hotel, we we're welcomed warmly by the friendly staff. They made us feel so welcome and at home. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and clean, not to mention the spectacular view from our balcony, seeing the real beauty of the whole Atami! We absolutely love our stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Atami region.

I used it to dive with three companions. Because of the corona cherry blossoms, I didn't hit the search for a single room, and it was a fairly large room, and I made a reservation to make a social distance. It seems that there was a coupon use by a certain site and a prepaid discount, and about 6000 yen per person including hot water tax. It is a rich view in a luxurious room that doesn't usually make a reservation first, and it feels sorry to not stay with my wife. The public bath is also a natural hot spring, and the open-air bath is a source of water. The inner bath was written as being chlorine disinfected by circulation, but the smell of hot water is not known. There were sauna and water baths, and it was quite slow. The original is like a resort condominium, and the passage faces outdoors, but unless it is rained in the rain of the side hit, it is positive only for the noise like the corridor I felt it. I didn't have a meal, so I can't evaluate it there, but I think it is quite convenient to use it in a group of multiple people because there is a set of cooking equipment and a large refrigerator in the room. It is a big facility, but all the spaces are well air-conditioned and no negative points were found.

Built on the slope, the surrounding environment is very good. The hotel can be seen to be carefully maintained. Experienced indoor baths and open-air hot springs, the open-air hot springs are the most impressive. The morning light is small, take the small cable car slowly up, take a bath, breathe fresh air, overlook the small city of Idong and the coast of Izu, physical and mental pleasure! I have also lived in dozens of hot spring hotels in Japan. This service and open-air hot spring are impressive and worth experiencing! In addition, the check-out time was raining heavily, the boss personally drove to the station, and also intimately told me to get off the bus and go directly to the corridor. He took the luggage to the corridor in the rain, thank you very much!

First of all, a hotel with a similar name called ”Hotel Ambient Izu Kogen” is about １ kilometers away, and the location of this ”Hotel Ambient Izu Kogen Annex” is difficult to understand. It doesn't come out even in the car navigation system. And is the entrance here? It is in a place called (see photo). The facility looks like a studio apartment has been remade into a hotel. To be honest, stains and scratches on the walls and carpets are old (the impression is that it is so old that it pulls so far and it is far beyond the renovation time). The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The bath is ok. It is convenient to have activities facilities such as Izu Grand Pal Park, Mt. Omuro, and Izu Shaboten Zoo nearby (car is required). The correspondence of the staff 々 including the front desk was good. I have the impression that it is not old.

The extremely helpful staff pick you up from the station and explain everything about this traditional Ryokan hotel. The onsen hot springs are lovely (bear in mind nakedness is obligatory), the rooms are clean, if dated, and we especially liked the complimentary Japanese robes and the traditional breakfast. It's not too far to walk to the main part of Ito town and the seaside.

[Good place] You can enjoy the ocean view from the room because it is in front of you. I was impressed that the moon looked brighter and more beautiful than I imagined. It looked very bright and bright, completely different from the moon that I usually see, and the moonlight reflected dazzlingly on the water surface of the sea and was very fantastic. If you are stuck to a special beautiful moon, I recommend you to check the full moon day and book an inn. If the weather is good, it will be a priceless experience. Asahi is also great. It is recommended to wake up early and see Asahi. The view from the rooftop open-air bath is special at night and in the morning. The dishes were very delicious with abalone and pig shabu. The refrigerator in the room was large, the freezer functioned properly, and it was important to cool various things. [A little more] I was worried about the dirt of the window. I thought I could clean it easily with water and scrapers, so I wanted to clean it so that I could enjoy the ocean view. The dishes are not available or not except abalone. I was expecting the sea, but the sashimi was made to feel the level of three points that were sold cheaply in the supermarket. As an inn facing the sea, I want you to have a little higher grade sashimi. (Similar to dried food in the morning) 【General review】 Overall, satisfaction was high.
