My stay at Shinhwa Landing have raise all expectations. Great service, luxurious amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable experience. I recommend this hotel room for the comfort, elegance, and tranquility.
The check-in process were professional, courteous, and the hospitality set the tone for the rest of my stay.
The room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and exuded a sense of comfort and sophistication. The bed, draped in crisp, high-quality linens, was comfortable especially after a long day of exploring.
Location was also ideal, with easy access to various attractions and dining options.

It’s a great hotel for a staycation with kids. The (indoor/outdoor) pool is fun and the theme park is a good way to entertain them for a few hours. The rooms are lovely and my kids think the TVs in the bathtub are amazing. The restaurant selection isn’t huge but is adequate and fairly diverse.
The few things I would say: 1) the pool is free to guests, but you have to book it and can only go once a day. You can’t eat inside the pool area and if your kids need a snack - tough luck. You can’t return. Bit chintzy.
2) the surface of the shallow kiddie pool outside I guess is meant to look like a beach but it’s very painful and sharp. So, no one uses it - especially kids. It’s a pity because then there’s really only a kids pool inside. They need to take the time during the winter to resurface that one little section. It was a bummer for my youngest.
3) it’s ridiculous to charge kids 35K for breakfast when all they eat is a bowl of cereal. I regret that and would just grab breakfast at one of the many cafes or bakeries under the hotel - just as good for 1/4 the cost. The breakfast is nice but a rip off unless you are able to gorge yourself.
4) I wish they’d made some small gesture for my daughter, as they knew we were there for her birthday weekend. Even a small gesture would have made her so happy.
I do like the hotel overall, though, and these are just things to make it even better.

We've stayed at this resort on several different occasions. Usually book directly on the resort site but often the rooms are sold out and it is best to book here. The resort is a top choice and must for families with children. There is something for everyone, and the location is close by many of Jeju's top attractions from museums to beaches and beautiful trekking trails. The swimming pool and waterpark are a must for children and the shopping mall in the lower levels are also convenient and fun.

This is my second visit.
Overall, there was no cleaning.
The bedding in the Ondol room had eyelashes, hair, etc., so I requested a replacement.
The topper is very low, making it uncomfortable to sleep on the floor.
I asked for just the topper and was told there would be an additional charge.
Other hotels and even pensions give you an additional service if you request an additional service, but Somerset seems to charge extra for even the smallest thing.
Of course, the floor gets sizzled and the soles of your feet get wet.
They cleaned so sloppily that there was a bunch of dust rolling around and I threw it in the trash. It was 3 nights and 2 nights, so I slept for one day and asked for cleaning the next day. They said they would clean it once every two days and they would rent a vacuum cleaner, so I rented it and cleaned it myself.
Also, there was a pleasant smell in the master bathroom...
I have two babies under 24 months old and the cleanliness was the worst.
Even if you go for a low price, isn't it a really cheap pension?
The good thing is that the breakfast was delicious and it was a trip for mothers and children without father.
It was nice and kind of them to help the 4-year-old boy get in and out of the pool.
When I visited two years ago, it was nice and comfortable, so I visited again, but I was disappointed.

The hotel is located in the Chinese tourist area, and there is a large botanical garden, Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, and Teddy Bear Pavilion nearby, all within walking distance, very convenient. The external environment is also good, and the atmosphere looks upscale. But the downside is that the sound insulation is poor. After staying for three nights, I was woken up by the sound of furniture such as chairs being dragged upstairs or in the next room while sleeping. It was very disturbing! Another point is that the bed may need to be replaced with a new one. It creaks when you turn over, and the mattress is not very comfortable. I have changed three hotels in Jeju Island. This one has the best external environment and the simplest internal facilities. The sanitation is okay.

Although the room is old, the facilities are well maintained. The swimming pool is open until 12 o'clock in the evening, which is rare. The hotel is on the edge of a cliff, and there is a winding path leading to the Chinese Beach. The hotel's own catering is very good. I booked a room for three days, about 14 kilometers from the airport. This hotel is more like a resort for locals. Most of the guests I met in the hotel were Koreans. The two front desk guys spoke good English and were patient! You can see the sea from the balcony. You can walk straight from the path opposite the hotel to the seaside. There are many cafes and convenience stores on the seaside. Although it is a bit far from the city, it is really quiet. If you want to eat, within two kilometers and a 10-20 minute walk, there are Internet celebrity barbecue restaurants, pig's trotters restaurants, and BHC fried chicken ~ Oh, by the way, there is a swimming pool on the second floor of the hotel 🏊♀️ Full marks

The hotel room is good with sea view and the wind blows which is really relaxing. You could fall asleep with the sea wind easily. The hotel room is quite big and it’s near the city center. If you would like to have an early check in, the hotel would charge 500000 won in the morning. So one thing isn’t the best it’s just no free early check in. Everything is still good.

Every day I wake up and hear the sound of the waves hitting the rocks by pushing the curtains. At the beginning, I have a good mood. From sunrise to sunset, I can harvest a whole day of happiness. I can't get a taxi online, my boss used taxi software to taxi for me, thank the boss, in Korea travel these few days, I see the sea every day very happy, the sea view room brings me happiness, the boss is very enthusiastic，He can speak some simple Chinese. If you have any questions to ask them, they will have the patience to answer me.

IIsti AnggrainiPleasant and Enjoyable. The check-in and check-out process was easy. We could leave our luggage or bags at the lobby before check-in time. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. Towels were clean and replaced daily. The hotel’s location is strategic, very close to the airport (approximately 18 minutes by bus) and various city bus routes pass by. We traveled by bus, so it was very convenient. It is a 4-minute walk to the laundry.

GGuest UserAs with any Lotte Hotel we’ve ever stayed at, the staff were welcoming and helpful, our room was very clean with strong wifi, and the bed was quite comfortable. We were very happy to see the hotel has become more eco-conscious and is no longer using individual plastic toiletry bottles but instead refillable dispensers, and have stopped using plastic cups. We hope that other Lottes will begin to do this, too! We enjoyed the hotel’s lovely rooftop deck, hot tub, and lap pool and it was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Unfortunately, the hotel has an odd timed entrance policy, so even though there were only two other people at the pool, we were asked to leave while we were sitting watching the sunset. The attendant kindly agreed to let us stay until the end of sunset, but it isn’t a great system. We had good room service and loved a side salad the chef made of arugula topped with warm sauteed mushrooms. It was so delicious we wish we could have ordered just the salad, and recommend they add it as an entree on its own. Thank you for another good stay at a Lotte--we hope to come back!

Situated just a 30-minute walk away from both the vibrant street market and the famous black pork street, it offered easy access to the heart of Jeju's cultural and culinary scene. One of the first things that caught my attention upon entering the hotel was its pristine cleanliness. From the spotless lobby to the well-maintained corridors. The room itself was impeccably clean, and I was pleased to find fresh linens and towels waiting for me upon arrival. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Now, let's talk about the one perplexing aspect of my stay: the absence of curtains in the bathroom. It was an odd design choice that left me scratching my head. While the bathroom itself was clean and functional, I couldn't help but wonder why there weren't any curtains to provide a sense of privacy. It seemed like a minor oversight in an otherwise well-thought-out hotel. Despite this puzzling bathroom setup, I must emphasize that it did not significantly impact my overall experience. The hotel's positive attributes, including its prime location, cleanliness, and friendly staff, more than made up for this minor inconvenience. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel in Jeju was fantastic. Its unbeatable location, coupled with the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff, created a memorable experience. Although the lack of curtains in the bathroom left me somewhat confused, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of my stay.

GGuest UserWent here for our wedding annivesary and we got a free upgrade to the Superior Terrace Ocean room. We loved every bit of the room as it was spacious, clean and comfortable. It also has an amazing view of the ocean from both the balcony and jacuzzi room though we would caution all to bring down the blinds as we can actually see all the rooms when standing opposite the hotel. In addition, all hotel staff that we crossed path with were polite and always ready to lend a handwhenever we needed assistance. My husband and I also enjoyed our dinner in their restaurant. However, the location of the hotel may be inconvenient for those who are not driving.

Staying here in November, the thermostats were set to 25 degrees (77 for my fellow Americans. This might not seem too horrible, but when you factor in Jeju humidity and a top bunk, it was so uncomfortably hot. Forget about a blanket, you’ll want to take off as much clothing as possible while trying to maintain decency.
Unfortunately, taking off a shirt or wearing shorts opens you up to another problem: mosquitoes. I wondered what all the red stains on the walls and ceiling were at first, but after I killed two mosquitoes and had countless more get way, I figured it out. Between the heat and the mosquitoes, I felt like I was sleeping outside in a jungle. Worst sleep I’ve had in a hostel (without someone in the room snoring as loud as a jet engine)
Other negatives include the beds feeling rather small and of course being Korean style in terms of hardness. Also, although this place calls itself as a hostel, but the English spoken here is minimal at best. If you don’t speak much Korean, expect awkward conversations with very little information being relayed to you. If you’re Korean these things might not bother you, so bear that in mind.
I hate giving it so few stars, considering the shockingly low price and the overall cleanliness and modernness of the facility, but I had a horrible night here. Wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free. If you’re a broke backpacker where money is the primary criteria, this is about as cheap as it gets and you get a lot of bang for your buck here. But if a good nights sleep is important to you, look elsewhere

AAnonymous UserHotel is rather rigid with check-in time. Strictly 3pm, not even 10mins earlier. The sound barrier is bad - could hear thunder footsteps and shifting of furniture from above every night, and people talking as they walk past the rooms. Stayed 5 nights, no fresh bedsheets was changed throughout. Overall stay was okay. Nothing spectacular to compliment about, but I’ll choose to stay in another hotel next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location. It is an older hotel, but it is in a very good location. It is not far from Dongmen Market. It is great to watch the sunset at Longtou Rock. There is a convenience store near the hotel entrance, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The Qixing Pedestrian Street is close to shopping, and the overall price-performance ratio is good.

SSabohatI am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel, Seoubong Beach Hotel from Sept 23-26. While I had initially looked forward to a pleasant experience, I regret to inform you that the behavior and attitude of some of your staff members were awful.
During check in the behaviour of your staff Kelly Oh to be discourteous and unprofessional. She was very rude. We booked and paid the room for 3 adults she asked us extra charge and could not explain for what we need to pay extra 30000 Won. She was very rude and almost kicked us out. I believe it is essential to bring these incidents to your attention so that you can take the necessary steps to rectify them.
On Sept 24, during breakfast at your hotel's restaurant, I had a regrettable encounter with a member of your waitstaff. She rudely with a loud voice said to go out from the restaurant without waiting for our finishing the breakfast at 10:05 am. I have never seen in any hotel this kind of unprofessional attitude from staff members.
I kindly request that you investigate these incidents and take appropriate action to address the behavior of the staff involved. Additionally, I hope that you will consider implementing further training and measures to ensure that such instances do not recur in the future.
I value the importance of constructive feedback and hope that my concerns are taken seriously. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the actions taken to rectify these issues. If my concerns are not adequately addressed, I may have no choice but to share my negative experience through online reviews and social media platforms, which I would prefer to avoid.
