"This is a wonderful little hotel that delivers 5 star service! We spent 6 nights here and loved every moment. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was a delicious work of art and a wonderful way to start each day. Right across from a lovely little lake, a 5 minute drive to town, and just down the road from all kinds of adventures, the hotel is perfectly placed. It is a great hotel, beautiful, modern, spotless, high tech and high end, but the people who work there are what made it exceptional!"

"Strengths- location, free parking, free breakfast, different size pillows, offered a free fan. Downside- out dated decor, old and leaky shower, room safe not working, no air units, average breakfast set up, we booked with a welcome drink in our price and they said no when we arrived, gym average (no towels or water), spa services unorganized. I would give this hotel a solid 3 stars."

Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Kranjska Gora

"The hotel is simple and slightly outdated but perfect if you are out and about all day. The beds are extremely comfortable! The buffet was standard with waffles, eggs and a honey bar. The pancake machine was a hit with everyone. Dinner buffet was good too. Travelling with two vegans is always tricky but Albert from the restaurant was absolutely fantastic! We asked if there was anything available and he got the chef to make us dinner! On NYE they made an amazing meal for us, nothing seemed too much trouble for Albert and Nico (restaurant manager). It was a shame that the pizzeria and the ‘Pub Legende’ were closed as it meant dinner at the hotel was limited to just the buffet. The hotel is in a great location with a small ice rink and bar outside, Intersport for hire over the road and the Mercator next door to intersport. The supermarket had lots on offer including vegan mayo and ham! And some incredible vegan shortbread biscuits! Just a shame it was closed on our last day so we couldn’t bring anything home. Hotel is part of the HitAlpinea chain which meant you could use the swimming pool, gym and spa at the other Ramada hotel at the bottom of the slopes. Swimming was free which was a great option as the snow wasn’t very good whilst we were there. Overall a great stay and I would go back, just to see Albert!"

"Perfect place to explore Kranjska Gora from. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, with great views of the mountains. Breakfast, while small, was delicious. But the best thing was the service - everyone was so warm and helpful!"
