My family was very satisfied. The environment was incredible, absolutely fantastic! It was also very convenient to go out for meals.

The hotel front desk service was okay, and there was free parking. On the day of my check-in, a large group arrived and all the rooms were sold out except for the double room in the Guanlonglou building. I booked it anyway, but just before check-in, they had a villa available, and I couldn't change rooms because it was past my check-in time. The Guanlonglou room facilities were outdated. The bathroom glass was covered in black stains and limescale. You had to stand right next to the toilet to close the bathroom door. The room only had three small lights, making it very dim. The bedside lamps were old and broken. I've never seen anything like this in all the hotels I've stayed in; it's worse than a guesthouse. The only thing I can praise is the service staff at the hot spring.

First, the pros: the hotel looks very grand from the outside, the staff at the hot spring pool were very friendly, and the Western food in the package was quite delicious. The cons: we booked a villa with a private hot spring pool, and there were tons of ants at the entrance, even in the car parked there. While driving, ants would occasionally crawl inside the car. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy, even at the lowest fan speed. The beach and pool were terrible; only two people could enter and exit the room at a time, and extra people had to pay extra (28 RMB per person for adults and children). Re-entry required a new ticket, and it seemed like most of the people using the facilities weren't hotel guests. The sand was very rough on the feet, the pool was dirty with lots of green stuff, and there were even fish in it. Flies swarmed around when sitting on the shore. The water park, which the kids were most excited about, had a layer of black, slippery stuff at the bottom, and the staff later said it was closed. In the end, the kids could only play in the sand on the edge. Overall, it wasn't a very good experience.

The ambiance was actually nice, but it was incredibly old. The bathrobes were never changed; they looked like they'd been worn for over a decade. Cleanliness was also poor; there was even a pomegranate stain left by the previous guest. Most importantly, the air conditioning was incredibly noisy; I didn't sleep a wink all night. Avoid this place! Also, the service at the Chinese restaurant was terrible, and they charged a 10% service fee.
