Wanda Realm Jinhua

The room was clean and tidy, with bright windows, and the service was attentive and thorough.

This hotel is right next to Wanda Plaza, making its location excellent and travel very convenient. The room was clean and had a large bathtub, which my kids absolutely loved. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the service was warm and attentive.

I stopped in Jinhua for a night on my way home for Chinese New Year. Besides being close to Wanda Plaza, the hotel experience was very poor. First, the smell was overwhelmingly strong; as soon as I entered the room, there was a heavy cat urine odor. I thought a previous guest had ungraciously brought a cat and it had urinated on the carpet. I went to the front desk to change rooms, but every single one had the cat urine smell. The staff claimed it was the smell of the cleaning agent – what kind of cleaning agent is that?! Second, the room was very stuffy. For safety reasons, the windows could only open about 10 centimeters, so there was no ventilation at all, and combined with the strong odor, you can imagine how uncomfortable it was. Third, the room facilities were quite old; the hand soap dispenser and shower looked very dated. Overall, I do not recommend staying here. For the same price in a city like Jinhua, you could find a much more comfortable stay.
