I am proud to say that this is my 4th stay over here in Amari Johor Bahru. Don't know why, l have been missing this hotel since l have last checked out back on last December 2023. As this is also impromptu decision to place my booking of 1 night stay over here together with my mum as l have managed to applied and gotten my leave approved. I must say that our stay has always been a good experience and a welcome type as always. The waiter, chef and front desk staff are always been very warm and friendly as they have always put on a smile on their face. We love the atmosphere and spacious of our room. We are have a free upgrade to One Bedroom Suite. Have enjoyed our 1 night stay very much. We have also checked out the Executive Lounge too. It was nice and like the quiet and privacy moments while we enjoyed our light dinner and also the breakfast session too. Didn't have much time to head to the gym and swimming pool for this time round. Nevertheless, we will plan for another StayCation in Amari Johor Bahru soon. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful and lovely one always. Cheers.

Really like Amari Hotel! I found my Superior King Room super spacious and cozy! Location is very good too, walk through the building to the other side and cross the road (safely!) to Komtar JBCC and City Square! Breakfast items at Amari level 6 were good too :) Will stay again!

Positives:
- location (opposite Komtar, walking from jb customs)
- Big room
- Comfortable bed
- Wide variety breakfast buffet
- Pretty nice views from top floor (21st floor)
- usb bedside charging (both sides of the bed)
- dual door wardrobe
- nice sneaking toiletries
Negatives
- My room toured swimming pool view. Yes can see the oool but the opposite building (Suasana Suites) very near. Had to keep curtains closed throughout the stay
- limited tv channels
- shower water could be hotter
- sink water pressure quite low
- could hear people talking outside the room (corridor)
- chargeable hotel parking (10rm per day and each time before exiting the hotel, need to validate the parking ticket)

Superb location, we got a free upgrade to a Deluxe King room and it was so spacious! Right opposite of Komtar JBCC in Zenith mall. Zenith mall has Haidilao and 7-11!

Love that the hotel is just opposite Komtar ☺️ super convenient and do note the lobby is at the 6th floor! Room is comfy and rather big! Will recommend and will return :)

1st time stay in Amari. Convenient walk to the opposite shopping mall. Simple deco hotel but acceptable. Room clean n big.

Overall good, not that luxurious for a 5 star hotel but can definitely see that it's a cut above the 4 stat business hotels. I'd say this is more of a business++ hotel with upgraded rooms and amenities over the 4 star business traveller oriented hotels.
The beds were really nice, I enjoyed the pillows and they had a good selection of pillows you could request from though I just used what was already in the room.
The breakfast buffet spread was good but similarly doesn't quite live up to my expectations of a 5 star hotel's breakfast buffet.
The only thing that was kinda annoying was that there was always housekeeping carts in the narrow hallway during the day. I understand that housekeeping needs to work but the hallways are already narrow enough.
