We were a table of two made reservations, drove a few hours to celebrate at Keuka lake. Our seafood bisque COLD, Two dinners COLD, no bread at our table. When we approached staff/management they could care less. The table next to us, another couple also complained of cold food. what a huge disappoin**ent! Poor management! One blessing is that the bartender was spot on with our drinks once we got to relax at bar.

My wife Tina & I met almost 4 years ago & quickly fell in love with each other & the Fingerlakes region. We are wine club members at 4 wineries on Keuka Lake & literally dozens of times (on our way home) would drive past The Mansion. With its exterior beauty & the name itself, we thought it would be nice to stay there (vs driving home) but probably couldn't afford it. How wrong we were. We both love new discoveries &, on 11-17-23, The Mansion became our latest one. So, so much history just with the building itself as it dates back to 1838 but, also, from the moment we stepped inside, Tina & I felt like we went back in time, to the roaring 20's for instance. For anyone coming to the Fingerlakes region that is looking for a place to stay 1 night, a weekend or longer, The Mansion is the first place to check out. Excellent & very attentive staff, very, very reasonable in & off season rates, great wine selection, excellent food & did I mention the view? It's out of sight. We told the staff that 11-17-23 began a journey between us & The Mansion and we look forward to coming back here for years & years to come.

The Mansion was called Esperanza before the new owners stepped in to rebuild the quality of this beautiful restaurant and Inn. It’s now providing very good food at reasonable prices. Sitting outside on the terrace looking down on Keuka Lake is a wonderful experience. We had 4 different entrees and were all very satisfied with our food. We would strongly encourage folks who had unsatisfactory experiences under the previous administration to try it again, because it is so much improved and is a delightful spot for visitors and locals to have a really good meal in a beautiful setting.

My husband & I can't say enough about the Mansion at Keuka Lake/Esperanza Mansion. We stayed in August 2022. Gina & Jay were very friendly, sociable, and provided excellent customer service. The property has a spectacular view of Keuka Lake and the surrounding area. The decor and furniture is of antique style, but with modern amenities. Absolutely breathtaking and speechless. The Staff are very attentive and make sure your enjoy your stay! The restaurant is phenomenal from the Host, the Servers, the Kitchen Staff & Chefs. We had Melissa both nites and she was very personable and an excellent server. The Chefs are extremely talented, every dish we had (we tried a few different ones during our stay) were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, the flavor, the ingredients complimented each other and made for a very delicious meal. We can't wait to go back! We highly recommend giving The Mansion at Keuka Lake a visit for dinner, a stay, or both! We've been visiting the Finger Lakes annually since 2006 & have visited other properties, but this place is our "Go To Place" from now on!

We only had lunch there and felt guilty at that. We are friends with the original couple who restored the mansion and spent 18-hour days for months developing the mansion as it was many years ago. Mary Olivo tested the recipes and set up the menu. She decorated the rooms that they could have been shown in any home-style magazine. With Covid and unscrupulous partners she was pushed out of the business. I am glad to see that there is new ownership although who sold it to them profited which is a disgrace!

My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday night. The place itself is beautiful. The mansion and setting are both gorgeous, with nicely decorated public spaces and lovely views from the yard, which is overlooked by some probably century-old trees. Given all that, our room was a bit of a letdown. It wasn't bad, certainly. The king bed was comfortable. There was a small balcony overlooking the front lawn. And it was clean. But it had a bare-bones feel to it, with little in the way of decor or amenities. It certainly didn't look like the rooms shown on their website. Before we arrived, they contacted my wife, who booked the room, to ask if it was OK that they were moving us from 218 to 216. Sure, we said. Now I wonder if some of the rooms have been renovated, and some not, and they put us in one of the latter. I'm sure this is a good place for wedding parties, but for us, it was only OK. It had neither the amenities of a hotel nor the coziness and personalized service of a B&B. Five stars for the setting, three for the room, so I'll give it a four.

We have been waiting for the right managers to run this beautiful place. I think that they have finally found the right people. we went to check out the restaurant for lunch, not knowing what to expect except the beautiful views. We were pleasantly surprised, not only was the place glowing with cleanliness the lunch that we were served on the patio was served by friendly staff. Our expertly mixed cocktails mellowed us for the afternoon . I hope they manage to find a full staff because the ones in place have to work very hard. The food was excellent and served hot. We were given a tour one of the rooms, although we only live 20 miles away we thought that we would have a mini break later in the year. (We could have two cocktails with our dinner without the problem of driving home). To sit on their patio overlooking the lake or reading a book under the beautiful oak trees would be idyllic. It is so nice to go for a meal without high decibel music and to be able to hear nature around you or talk to your friends.

New Years Eve dinner, epic fail. We had terrible service, only 2 servers for 20 tables, 100+ guests. We were seated quickly for our 7:30 reservation, then not approached again for 40 minutes. The only 2 servers were working their tails off! We were only were asked once for cocktails, good thing we had foresight to order a bottle of sparkling wine. We had a party of 4, didn’t have a hard order, and we were trying to be patient. While the food was good, it was lukewarm when served, bread came out (finally) hour & 15 minutes after...by the time our entrees came out- we applauded (seriously!)... Others were equally left waiting, too. Guests kept leaving their tables & going to the bar for drinks & water refills. But interesting, the couple next to us(seated right after us) finished their meals with desserts 1/2 hour before we got our entrees! How does that even happen? 2 hrs & 15 minutes after we arrived we finally got our entrees. Asked for to-go packages, was too late to eat. By then the hired DJ was cranking up the party music & as the bar partiers descended upon the cavernous dining room, created even more of an echo than before. No apologies from waitstaff or management. Epic fail, Esperanza. You could have given us a decent dinner memory, but no. Would not go again.
