We had an amazing week in Napasai. We stayed at a 3-bedroom waterfront villa with our own pool and beach. The villa was lovely and grounds very attractive, but it was quite far from the main area where breakfast, gym etc are located. The positive side of this was that it was nice and quiet and mostly we didn’t mind the walk and when it was too hot, the team running the buggies were very prompt and helpful. We found the reception team, especially Ae and Beer, extremely helpful, organising us drivers for various trips. I would advise guests to rent a car or ask for a driver to take yourself elsewhere in Koh Samui for dinner. The hotel breakfast is lovely, but we were not blown away by either of the restaurants for dinner. My only word of caution is for travellers with younger children: the villas are not actually a single building with a central lounge, but separate buildings. So our 3-bed villa was four separate buildings, all on different levels on the hillside. For us, with older children this was not an issue, though we would have felt more together if we’d been in one apar**ent. I imagine the hotel would advise against this type of accommodation if someone had smaller children.
