The Plantation Koh Tao

What a beautiful place to stay situated just a 10 minute walk from Sairee beach and the main town area. But far enough that it’s very peaceful. Villa 3 offered outstanding views. The host, Phin & Robert (owner) who I met were absolutely great and very accommodating.

Paradise! Spotless, modern, very service oriented, magnificent view. Easy walk down to center and beach. There is no reception, but Pin was much better than any receptionist. She answered any request kindly, happily and with a loving heart. She made our vacation.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Koh Tao. The view is truly breathtaking, the apartment itself is spotless and well maintained, and the service couldn’t have been better. The hosts are attentive and make sure you’re set up with everything you need, from small details to helpful recommendations, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, great service, and unforgettable views, this is definitely the spot.

The Plantation is fantastic! The owners are available and are communicative. It is clean, and overlooks the beach and coconut trees. Sunsets are spectacular. We will be back!!

Pool Villa 2 Br at the Plantation compound indeed has the best sea view in this part of the island. The host organised a free taxi from the pier and welcomed us at the villa with a quick tour and useful guidance about ordering food, getting around and using the facilities. The property has a fantastic position and in real life it looks even nicer than in stunning photos posted here. Living room, two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom are spacious, light and very comfortable. Tasteful and elegant furnishing, artistic details, fully equipped kitchen, and a spectacular infinity plunge pool made our stay unforgettable. The host maintains the highest level of hygiene, daily change of towels and cleaning. They were responsive to all our needs. While staying in the villa, we enjoyed complete privacy, surrounded by the most beautiful lush forest, palm trees, flowers and a fantastic view of the whole Koh Tao bay from the large veranda next to the pool. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay We were very well looked after during our stay. Views amazing, spacious living area and very comfortable beds. Our host quickly responded to queries regarding transport and restaurant recs. Only downside is it's a steep walk back!

We had a booking fully paid for 7 nights at the Plantation Koh Tao, which we were looking forward to. After 10 hours of travelling, we finally reached the place with our luggage and waited by the road. Seeing there was no lobby or anyone around, I started looking for their phone number to find someone to check us in. I called 3 different phone numbers I found online and one finally picked up. 5 minutes later a lady showed up. She then called the owner who arrived 5 minutes later on his scooter. The lady looked quite angry for some reason. We had 2 heavy suitcases to take up to the room, which was quite high up on a really steep slope (like climbing 5 floors or so). The owner took one and the lady asked me to help take the other one up. On our way up carrying the luggage, the lady staff suddenly told us "If you don't like it here, don't come again". I was quite surprised to hear that especially before we even reached the room. Upon arriving in the room, the lady started getting angry at us and shouting at my girlfriend. She told us to "get the f**k out of the hotel". The owner was next to her and trying to intervene while her staff was closed to getting in a physical fight with my girlfriend. The lady staff finally left the room and the owner told us "maybe it's better if you guys leave" and that he would refund us for the booking we fully paid. Given the situation, we left the place immediately carrying our luggage down the hill, managed to find a new last-minute hotel to book for our stay and got a taxi there. This was quite a shocking experience and the first time this happened to me out of the hundreds of hotels I have stayed at before. I recommend absolutely avoiding this place if you want to enjoy your holidays, given the hysteric lady working there. Really bad experience.

Amazing stay in Koh Tao Fantastic stay at The Plantation. Stunning views and a feeling of seclusion. A little walk up the hill but not too arduous to afford you the elevated position.
