Hotels near Talay Reck in Krabi

First of all, I want to praise the hotel for the sources. Basins with different temperatures, clean, also have 2 cold water pools and fish spa pool. Really nice place. Highly recommend. The host and all the workers are very friendly and helpful. They printed boarding passes for us. The hotel is well equipped, food there is very tasty and absolutely loved the architecture of the building. Lovely place for animal lovers, as they have three dogs, few cats and a lot of fish too. The place is close to the airport, they can organise taxi for 200 baht, which is cheaper than grab or getting a taxi from the street. There is table tennis there, small gym and they even have badminton rackets. Nice variety of beer and ale. We ate brownie made by the owner and it was one of the best brownies I’ve ever eaten! 5*!!!

We (3 non vegetarians and 3 vegetarians) loves the hotel breakfast. Breakfast provides are different every day but not all. The staff is nice and allows us to use the utensil and plates for outside food to eat at the breakfast area. This hotel has short walking distance to Andaman Cultural Centre and Maharaj morning market.

Hotel charges approx 5 euro for airport transfer although it is quite close, but the transfer used to be free of charge. Rooms modern and relatively clean basic 3 star standard. Small pool area at front of hotel all good for approx $15usd a night room only. Unfortunately if you book with agoda you get a low floor room near reception. I asked for a room with betterview etc and they say they do not have any available rooms!! although the hotel was pretty empty and nowhere near full. Where this hotel scores is for going to big c and lotus superstores (you are approx 10mins walk from each) and can easily walk to tiger cave temple, stay to sunset or after and safely walk back very easily with some shops and food stalls enroute. It is also good for early flight departures from Krabi airport, if you use grab transportation via the grab app, or try and get a bus or songthaew on the main road, if your flight is during daylight hours.

Made a strong complaint about poor room lighting with front office female staff. She replied in a very rude, high voice to me and my wife. Such a bad attitude.

The staff were really friendly but unfortunately after waiting 3 hours to check in I found bed bugs in the bed. I had checked reviews to avoid any place with bed bugs and there was no mention of any on other reviews. I reported in to the receptionist and they changed my room right away and had a cleaner stripping the bed straight away. However there was then bed bugs in the 2nd room, to which I immediately showed the receptionist as she was still in my last room and she just flicked it off and said they will change the sheets. My concern was that if there are bed bugs in two of the rooms on the sheets then there will be more and they reside in the mattress and below the sheets too. I said I just cannot stay there as I do not want to get bites or for my things to become infested. The receptionist said sorry there are no refunds, I read at the desk that there were no refunds under any circumstances however I understand that for other reasons but this is unacceptable and this is a clear health issue and was completely out of my control. I am disappointed with the approach towards this and feel I should have received a refund as I was not there for even an hour. This would have been a lovely stay and the staff were so kind and did try to rectify the situation by giving me a new room immediately but unfortunately due to this issue I would not recommend staying here.

Is a place Suitable for relaxation and should take your own car. Because it is quite far from the city Driving is not difficult to find, there are signs along the way. This is our 4th trip to Krabi and subsequently the 4th hotel that we have stayed at. Villa cha cha in a nutshell is everything you want in a resort for a family trip. We booked the beachfront suite and it was nice, spacious and comfortable! The service is overall good but, and this is a minor issue, the food takes time to be served in the restaurant, which basically means you can enjoy more cocktails in the happy hour :) It is a 15 mins drive away from Ao Nang beach but they have a free shuttle service every half hour. Another thing they can improve upon is having another masseuse at their spa. There is only one masseuse and sometimes the wait period is too long!

We have 4 people in a group, go to Kabi at night, rent a car and drive through the hotel for about ten minutes, pass the big supermarket, parking at the hotel entrance, stay on the left one night, the room is big, the air conditioning is OK in my room, but the friend's room is not frozen, and finally it is to be cleaned in the middle of the night. After cleaning, it will be fine. The service is OK, if you want to massage, you can call the hotel to call the hotel, but on Friday night, the massage therapist was busy, didn't have time, and finally didn't have a massage, unfortunately

A friend who has lived in Krabi for 30 years recommended The Greenry to me. I was considering booking on Riley Island and enjoy the beaches (at 2000 to 3000 Thai baht per night). That rins about 60 to 100 usd per night. So grateful I stayed her in Krabi Town. I have gone to Ao Nong beach 3 days in a row. The resturants are great along the beach. I can walk, bike or grab a (Rot Thaw) which is so cheap. The back of it has side seating and it is about 50-60 baht (about $1,50 usd) If you want to go alone than its more. I love this place. Nothing fancy but the owner Bang speaks English and they have a great staff. There is an elevator and stairs for their 4 floors. There is no iron or blow dryer. Bring your own. They do not serve breakfast but from what I can see, they must have before Covid. Have grace as these hotels get back on their feet. I paid 500 Thai baht per night. That's $15 per night. The rooms are a good size. There is lovely outdoor tropical seating/tables and chairs to sit under ceiling fans. It's worth it! This may be my regular place to stay. Lot's of highly rated restaruants and cafe's in walking distance. Very Covid safe and Sha approved!
