The location, amenities, service, decor are great. Only 10-15mins drive to most tourist areas. The hotel is located in Jinma Biji Mall area. There are many local specialties shops and restaurants around within walking distance. Room decor and facilities are well-maintained. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Hotel breakfast has good options. I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Will definitely choose to stay at this hotel the next time I visit Kunming. Highly recommend!

The services provided by the hotel employees are top-notch, almost cater to your personal needs, comparable to a 5-star Hotel. Room is very clean and quiet. Hotel is located within walking distance to pedestrian streets and shopping malls. Breakfasts are mainly local Yunnan dishes that you have to pre-select for the next morning or as and when you check-in, limited selection though.

Excellent hotel which is located in a fantastic location and has a really cool local feel. The people at the front desk are very nice and will help you do whatever you need. Close to some modern shopping areas, but really the highlight is the incredible range of local food stalls.

We had a very wonderful time at the JinBi Hotel. It is one of the best hotels I’ve been. We booked two rooms for two couples. The rooms are big and spacious and most importantly clean and comfortable. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy. The Chinese style decorations and furnitures are very tasteful. The whole design is coordinated and elegant. Even the breakfast area is nicely decorated. There are options for the set breakfast which is simple but sufficient. There are also places to have tea . The service is excellent. It’s higher than a 5 star rating. From the front desk to the kitchen staff to the cleaning staff to the manager, they are all very warm and helpful. They were very patient with my elderly brother in law who had tons of questions and requests. We were really satisfied with our stay.

We stayed here for two nights and had a very special experience. The hotel is located in the middle of the old city. It is very lovely and has a very nice atmosphere. We even got one upgrade to a suite which was amazing. The rooms are very comfortable. Sometimes there is a smell from the drain but after putting water on it, it disappears. The breakfast ist also very special and very good. Our rooms were non-smoking rooms which was great. We had a very lovely stay!

What a fantastic find. A place with style and class. The staff made us feel so welcomed and were most helpful. Each room’s decor were unique. Our breakfasts were freshly cooked by the chef and well presented. Highly recommended. 真是个很棒的发现。一个有格调和品位的地方。工作人员让我们感觉很受欢迎，而且非常乐于助人。每个房间的装饰都很独特。我们的早餐是由厨师新鲜烹制的，而且摆盘精美。强烈推荐。

Location is near night market. Very convenient, hotel was clean and tidy!

We decided to stay here again for a night on our way back instead of hotel near the airport. Good choice as we could still enjoy the night in kunming. I was told hotels near airport do not near any amenities. No difficulty getting taxi (didi ride) to airport at 3 or 4am.

Amazing service, big room, if you really wants to experience local culture then this is the hotel, just in the middle of downtown area and jinbie street

We booked this place at our end of spring festival holidays, after a series of bad overpriced hotels, so arriving here was a very pleasant surprise! The location is very central, in the middle of a busy store and food area, but it's still quieter than any other hotel we stayed in. You are basically the only people living on the roof of this building, it's great! The only downside of this area is that it smells a bit like barbecue outside, but I love barbecue so it's not so bad. The room is huge! There are 2 couch areas, 1 terrace with a small table that we used to eat some takeout, there is also a small kitchen and bathroom in the terrace area. There is also a second terrace with a huge outdoor bathtub, surrounded by plants, great! Only wished it had a bit more light in the tub at night. Remember to bring some candles for best enjoyment. The bed is the biggest bed I've ever slept in, with comfortable pillows and quilt. The main bathroom is also very big, it has a nice shower, and a sauna! One thing about bathroom is that it doesn't have a fan, and it was a bit stinky in the morning. Also we had some trouble with the hot water, had to let the water run for a really long time to get it warm enough for a shower. Other small things that prevent me from giving 5/5 is that it's missing small things like a place to hang towels or robe in the bathroom, and the hot water problem.

Very good location next to city center and walking distance to the night street food market. Very cute chinese old courtyard style, big rooms with bathtub and very comfy bed. Totally recommended.

The room was very big price was very low. Location is like in the old town with people stone laid roads. Breakfast was terrible. I had to go out and eat breakfast elsewhere mattress was a little too firm. I love the decor of this place very traditional Chinese and the price is a big plus.

Great hospitality by this hotel. Very kind and loving astaff and location is beyond amazing. Great Chinese ambience and architecture around the hotel and only a few minutes walk to the Metropolitan area. Room is clean and spacious and bathroom has heating floor. Breakfast is very good too. Would really appreciate though if they had some condiments in the room like tea/coffee like every other hotel. Bathyub in the room is great but unfortunately the water wasn't hot enough for a bath, but hot enough for showering etc. I strongly recommend this place.
