The whole place was quiet, not noisy at all, making it suitable for business trips or as a stopover during travel. As an international chain brand, the quality is reliable and the price is fair. "Just remembered to review after my stay, and this 18-Degree Inn Smart Hotel really exceeded my expectations. The decor is simple yet tasteful, not your typical cookie-cutter business style. The soft, warm lighting creates a fantastic ambiance, perfectly complemented by the full suite of smart facilities – very high-tech! First, let's talk about the bed. It was genuinely comfortable; the mattress was just the right firmness, and the pillows weren't flat. I was out like a light as soon as I lay down, even though I'm usually a light sleeper, I slept straight through till morning. The bedding felt clean, not damp or musty, and had no strange odors, which I really appreciate. I'm quite particular about cleanliness, but when I walked into the room, the floors and surfaces were spotless, and there were no water stains in the bathroom. The disposable toiletries were a reassuring touch. The service attitude deserves praise. The front desk lady was always smiling. When I asked for directions, she even helped me plan the route on my phone – she wasn't just giving perfunctory answers. I called the front desk once during my stay to request an extra set of toiletries, and they were delivered very quickly. The location is also great, right on Guangfu Road. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's convenient for subway travel – not one of those hotels so remote you need a 30-minute taxi ride. Overall, my stay can be summed up in one word: excellent."

The room was clean and spacious, with excellent facilities. The breakfast buffet offered a huge selection, with plenty of pastries and milk specifically for kids. The hotel's location is superb; it's right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. All the staff were incredibly kind and patient, especially friendly towards children. Our travel fatigue completely melted away here. I highly recommend it for families!"

"We were a group of 15 people, four families with kids, staying together. Overall, it was quite convenient! Besides traffic, it was easy for the children to go out and explore the area, with plenty of places to eat and shop. The facilities, including the bathrooms, were fine, and the bedding was comfortable for a good night's sleep. The only real issue was the slow service; we were told it was fully booked, and we had to wait two hours for our luggage, which definitely needs improvement, though it wasn't a major problem. I also have a suggestion: since they contact guests in advance, and families with children often book multiple rooms, why not assign them to the same floor beforehand? We had to spend over half an hour at check-in discussing this to get rooms on the same floor. How much efficiency was lost? It was frustrating. P.S. I've attached some photos of good food spots nearby."

The airport drop-off service was also great; even though it was outside the standard time, they still coordinated with the driver to arrange it for us. Overall, it was impeccable!"

"The location is pretty good, close to Plaza 66, about an 8-minute walk. The hotel's concierge service was good; staff were always there to greet us multiple times when we entered and exited. We booked connecting rooms, but they were externally connected, not internally. This made it inconvenient, especially when the kids were asleep, as the sound of swiping the card to enter the room was quite loud. So, it wasn't ideal. The room was too small; the bathroom and shower were cramped together, and there wasn't enough space to turn around. It felt very restrictive. Breakfast was just average. Not many varieties, but the quality was decent. The freshly squeezed juice was watered down, and the watermelon juice wasn't good. Overall, I didn't really feel like there was much service."

Handmade cookies: Delicious, delicious! Self-service coffee and tea: Drank so much of it! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. To have stayed at such a wonderful hotel right upon arriving in Yunnan, I'd give it 100 out of 100! I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family! I'll be back next time!"

"Firstly, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to MixC shopping mall. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and shops on Minhang Road and Chajie, and the surrounding streets are bustling. It's also quite close to Cuihu Lake. Secondly, the hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. Thirdly, despite being street-facing, our room was relatively quiet. The housekeeper on the twelfth floor was very thorough, meticulous, and efficient. However, the female front desk staff were incredibly inefficient. Check-in was very slow, and they lacked any customer service awareness, acting as if they didn't even see guests. Even when guests greeted them, saying "hello," the staff wouldn't respond, just staring blankly like robots. What was most incomprehensible was their rude demeanor. When I inquired about room availability and prices, the female staff member was extremely cold and spoke with obvious impatience. She simply stated that it was peak season and the listed price was high, giving off a "take it or leave it" vibe when addressing guests who booked through Ctrip. She made no effort to patiently explain or offer any alternative options. This lack of service awareness and stiff communication significantly lowered the overall stay experience and negatively impacted the hotel's brand image (as the front desk is the hotel's face). It's clear that the front desk staff lack consistent service standards, maintaining a cold attitude throughout. It's unclear if they've received proper training. I initially had a good impression of the hotel otherwise and planned to stay for four nights, but encountering a hotel front desk that treats guests so poorly made me want to leave as soon as possible to avoid further frustration. Kunming is a city known for its spring-like weather and warm people, and I was disappointed to have that positive impression tarnished by this hotel. I hope the platform will inform the hotel to strengthen the most basic "communication," "etiquette," and "facial expression management" training for its female front desk staff."
