Originally, I wanted to change places to lie down, but this ancient town was unexpectedly good! I didn't step on thunder. The purple rice cakes (super delicious) and biscuits bought in the temple, the seagull cake is more delicious than the Shanghai Chenghuang Temple and other ancient towns around (more bean paste stuffing), and the beef sauce and fermented bean curd you buy! All recommended. There are also nostalgic shops selling childhood snacks.

The two front desk staff at check-in were very polite and looked like interns. They didn't look like the desperate front desk staff at all. They were very nice and even offered me the access card for my room door. But the hotel's hardware facilities are really hard to describe. I specially booked a lake view room. I was very happy to see a balcony when I opened the door. However, the balcony door was locked. I contacted the hotel staff and said that it was forbidden to open it and it was unsafe... It was only on the 6th floor, and the balcony had railings. You can open balcony doors on more than ten floors in Sanya. If there is a smell in the room, you can't open it to disperse the smell. It's really outrageous. What's even more outrageous is the bathroom. The frosted glass surface on the shower side is very transparent. If you don't turn on the lights during the day, you don't think there is a problem. But when you turn on the lights at night, you can see clearly. There is no privacy whatsoever. The toilet in the bathroom is also in a strange position, just behind the door. When you go to the toilet, you have to face the wall and think about your mistakes. The doorbell in the room is also designed in an unknown way. When you press the doorbell, it dings and you are done. If you turn on the TV or play with your mobile phone, you will not hear the doorbell ring at all. The design of the sofa in the room is quite good. It is a small piece of leisure space, which is good for sitting and playing with mobile phones. One time I happened to meet a hotel staff member while taking the elevator. I asked about the hotel out of curiosity and found out that the entire hotel was renovated for the second time. But is this still a second remodel? I really don’t know what it was like when it was first built, and I really can’t compliment some of the designs. One thing to say, the scenery in the lake view room is still good. Except that you can't open the door to further enjoy the lake view, it is still a good choice.

Xiangban Jijiadun (Ideal Village) is here. We chose the right boutique homestay Jinshang Xishe and booked a parent-child room. It is the Japanese minimalist style we like. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has a big bathtub. The baby especially likes the small tent and small sports facilities. The housekeeper is very considerate and sent fruit plates, building blocks, and children's books. The landscape layout in the hotel courtyard is very suitable. There are comfortable open spaces on the first-floor patio and the third-floor terrace. From the third-floor terrace, you can see the entire homestay area, white walls, gray tiles and clear river surface, a quiet rural painting, leisurely and comfortable. The breakfast is very healthy and the afternoon tea is also rich. The boss enthusiastically recommended the nearby Brick Kiln Cultural Center, Jinxi Ancient Town and Farm, Yaji, etc. It's worth the trip! Come again with friends next time.

The family room has two beds, one large and one small. It does not have a river view but is quiet. It is enough for a family of four. The boss is very enthusiastic. There is a guardrail (very wide) along the river where you can sit and rest. It is very comfortable to make a cup of tea and sit by the river in the evening. There are many scenic spots on both sides of the river.

It is very convenient to go to Shuangqiao, Zhang Hall, Shen Hall and the museum. You can order takeout, and it’s easy to have whatever you want delivered to you. This is the night view center at night, and it’s a great experience to walk around. It's far away from noisy places like bars, so it's quiet at night. The boss is very nice, down-to-earth in business, attentive service, and very clean. If I come to Zhouzhuang again, I will stay here again.

Great little place to stay. I booked the room with a balcony view. Enjoyed sitting on the chairs in the morning and evening. Mosquito netting around the bed is perfect for a good night sleep. Overall I would love to come back here again. No issue with Food Delivery into the park. Hotel staff were helpful in arranging Taxi Service to Oriental Land Station (100RMB). Enjoyed the shops and plenty to do over a couple days if you like to take your time strolling leisurely. Also traveled to Suzhou canals near Qilishantang and Pingjiang which are great as well.
