One of the best hotels we have stayed in ever! Absolutely stunning design of hotel from Outside to in, layout, attention to detail, all made from natural materials. Location was great, less than 10 min taxi to Kyoto Station, handy for the rainy days we had and heavy suitcases too! There’s even a shop downstairs selling their own brands, unfortunately we didn’t have the time to check it out, but from trying their teas in the room provided, I can tell their products are great! Staff were polite and very helpful. We were even upgraded to a room with a balcony! What a treat. Will absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Rooms, private baths + public bathing pools, exclusive reception areas, and exclusive elevators all feel pretty good at first. But...but the price is more than 4,000 per night. After checking out, I put my luggage in the hotel. When I came back from shopping, I could only pick up my luggage on the first floor. In the very small space at the elevator door, I could only unpack and put things on the floor (people coming and going squeezed the aisle). This was compared to when I first checked in. Service has simply fallen off a cliff. The two service staff at the front desk just looked at it. There was a sign on the luggage that said ”Vie Di” was on it, but they didn't care anyway. Haha, it's really humorous.

The location is excellent and right in the downtown of Kyoto but not in the front street which will be too crowded and noisy, still there were some noisy from the restaurants and bar nearby which still played loud music even after 12:00AM, so not ideal for those people who needs total silence to sleep. This is probably the necessary evil when live in the downtown hotel, but the hotel is already in the back alley so felt a bit better. Cannot consider the service top quality since the hotel front desk is located at 8th floor, and there is only one person tending the luggage at ground level till 6PM, so no service can be offered at ground level, this is the part can improve since some of the high floor hotel do have ground floor service crew unless in a big commercial building complex. The room is nicely decorated and everything feels new, no complaint about the room. Although the breakfast is a bit disappointed given the very limited selection of foods and Japanese style breakfast can only offer limited number (25 serving per day?), this part can definitely make some improvement, at least inform the guest about the limited number so we can book in advance.

Super hotel is really super. Good location. Walkable distance to lots of places. Hankyu station is just a stone away. Takashima and Daimaru are nearby as well. Lots of nice restaurants.roo. The room is ok with a long sofa. Able to put one 29 inch luggage. The downside is the toilet is too small. The way they placed the toilet bowl made it difficult to walk in and out. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is nice although there are not a lot of choices. Inhouse baked bread is nice. .

It is the stay at Mitsui Gardens Hotel which is ３ times in Kyoto since entering this year. There was a concept in each hotel of the hotel, and this time it was a collaboration with the temple. I stayed at Hotel Muse Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi MEITETSU, which was not able to stay on the opening day (October 31, 2020). Because there was a cheap plan for [Kinki 2 Fu 4 prefectural people limited]. It would have been because it opened at a severe time of self-restraint, the room was a very new impression. It is located at the entrance of Buddhist temple street for about 4 minutes walk from Shijo Kawaramachi. In the cheap version of the Washington Hotel, there is no public bathhouse that cuts the service to the edge and is popular in business hotels. The room size, facilities, etc. are standard for business hotels. Bedding, toothbrushes and razors are received at the front desk. However, the quality of razors was bad and the skin was cut. It is a pity that the lighting in the room is white fluorescent color and it is cold 々 impression. This wants to improve. Check out only puts the card into the machine. Not long after the opening, the building is beautiful overall. However, I think the hair remains on the bus and the cleaning is one now. Breakfast with free is a minimum set of several kinds of warm bread and cup soup, coffee and juice. Coffee had a cup service that could be drunk in the room. The price setting of 6000 yen is a major business hotel with a price of close to 20000 yen in business, and this location, this fee, and this facility can be said to be the best level without complaint. I got this property information from XiaoHongShu. Very impressive with the hot spring, sunset and sunrise activities. So we book and stay! We checked in around 3.30pm and go for the evening cocktail with the gorgeous views. Dinner and then enjoy ours night spring. And sunrise spring. Honestly this is the best ever experience. The photos both here and on booking do not do this hotel justice. It was so much more pretty. I stayed in much more expensive ones in Kyoto and yet I will 100% return here. The rooms are so beautiful, clean, cozy and cute, especially the tatami/japanese style ones. The bathroom was beautiful, with a separate toilet and separate bath and shower (and everything looking brand new). The staff is very kind and the location is simply perfect (and I had a great veiw of Gion from my window).

Booked 3 nights in Kyoto and decided on Forza Hotel Shijo Kawaramachi. Check-in was swift but the lady staff could not speak much English, though. The room was not very big and opening up 2 big pieces of luggage was quite challenging but manageable. There was a mini fridge but no safe deposit box. I like the access to free hot beverages in the lobby area. The location of the Hotel is great! It's right in the middle of the shopping street. There is an Exit 11 from Shijo Station that is right to the Hotel (a distance to walk, though) The famous Nishiki market is just a 2 minutes walk from the Hotel. Lots of shops and eateries near the Hotel. Across the road on the short distance right, you can catch buses (at the Bus Stop) to many sightseeing spots within Kyoto. Though this was not my original choice of Hotel in Kyoto, I found the stay in Forza Hotel cozy and comfortable. In fact, I love it! Will I stay at Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi again? Of course!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our stay in Kyoto. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this Ryokan. From the moment we arrived we were made feel so welcome. The room was spacious and the beds on the floor were comfortable, even at four months pregnant I was comfortable. My husband and I both took advantage of the Onsen bath onsite which was lovely. The location is fantastic right beside the Nishiki Market, there are so many restaurants nearby. We had breakfast onsite one morning and would absolutely recommend doing this at least once. It was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.
