I wish there was a convenience store a little closer.

There were 7 of us in our party, and we used it well without any inconvenience except for the fact that there is no soundproofing inside. Although the front desk and the accommodation are separate buildings, the check-in process is very easy and even though it is a short distance, they call a taxi for free, so we arrived without worrying about carrying our luggage. The house was renovated neatly and beautifully in a new way while maintaining the traditional concept, so the price wasn't cheap, but I didn't feel like it was a waste at all. In particular, the bathroom was so pretty, and when I opened the window, I could take a bath while looking at the garden from the bathtub, so I used it every morning and evening. When checking out, I didn't have to go back to the front desk, just put the card key in the designated place, so I thought that even first-timers of this type of lodging would be able to stay with peace of mind. In summary, it was an impeccably satisfactory accommodation in almost every aspect, including location (very close to Kyoto Station and Nishi Honganji Temple), cleanliness, convenience, and size. However, it may be inconvenient if there are people in your party who have different bedtime/wake up times or who are sensitive to privacy.
