A very unique hotel. There is a unique temple morning service in the morning, but unfortunately I can't get up. It takes five minutes to walk downhill to the Qiyuan. It takes more than ten minutes to the south to reach Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka. It is nice to walk there in the morning when there are not many tourists.

The environment is okay, but don't forget to turn off the sound, otherwise you will be woken up in the morning. Parking is not very good, the parking lot closes early, and you can’t get something if you forget it.

The room is a bit small, but the bedding is very comfortable. I didn't sleep well in the first few nights in Kyoto, but I didn't expect to fall asleep as soon as I lay down at Chion-in Temple and sleep very soundly. I went to attend a Buddhist ceremony in the morning. Although I didn't understand it very well, it was a rare experience. The front desk service was very good. Because I went there early and it was before the check-in time, I stored my luggage and went out to play. When I came back, it was already dark. When I checked in, I was told that the luggage had already been sent to the room. It was really considerate.

Heshun Kaikan is right next to the grand third gate of Chion-in Temple and has a great location. It is a two-step walk from Maruyama Park and Yasaka Shrine. You can walk all the way to Kiyomizu-dera Temple to see the temple gardens. It is very convenient. During the red leaves season, Kodai-ji Temple is beautifully lit up at night. On the other side, you can walk to Gion. Hanamakoji (not worth the crowd) Takashimaya booked a Western-style room because I don't like sleeping on the floor. It's simple and simple. The room is bigger than expected. The bathroom doesn't have three separations but it's very clean. There's no odor in the room. The overall hotel is above average and not old. The view across from my room is very good. I can see the red leaves on the shrine. The hotel has no lounge to rest and have tea. There is only one restaurant. If you don’t include meals when booking a room, you can’t receive it. The hotel room can be booked within 300 yuan in the off-season. There is also a hot spring. Kyoto is completely like a god. After staying here, I found such a good location and such a big room. The price is because there are two fatal flaws. One is the poor lighting design. It takes many steps to turn it off at night. At 5 o'clock in the morning, the curtains do not block the light at all. After looking at the structure, it is easy to install a blackout curtain. There is no noise. The air conditioner is loud and can be turned off. The other ventilation fan is also very noisy and I didn’t find the switch. I prepared earplugs. Even if I stay in a roadside hotel, it can be used for driving at night. It doesn't matter whether it is blocked or not tightly blocked. The hotel also has a guest comment form on the table. Such an obvious problem cannot be discovered and improved. The hotel gathers in the lobby at 5:30 in the morning and you can experience the morning classes at the temple. I originally wanted to stay here for a long time in the off-season, but it was really hard to sleep, so I gave up.

I like it very much. The hotel is in the temple, very clean, and is considered large among Japanese hotels. It is difficult to book, but I was lucky to get it.

The room is very big, very quiet, and the environment is very good. I will choose to stay here again next time. The front desk is also very welcoming ❤️ I highly recommend everyone to try Japanese temple accommodation for a different experience

The advantages and disadvantages are obvious. It's suitable if you like to get up early or run nearby or experience Japanese style. The hotel's four pages of accommodation instructions are very clear, and the drawings of making beds, public baths, etc. are very intuitive and simple. Environment: Very good, quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It is inside the largest temple, Chien-yuan. Walk 200 meters from the door. There is a park on the right hand side when you exit the temple door. The scenery is good. After walking further, you will find Niannianban Gaotai Temple and other nearby places. There are many places nearby. People were taking pictures nearby. On the left after leaving the temple, you will find Yasaka Shrine near the main road and Kamogawa Shijo on Kien Hanami-koji. There are many places to go shopping and eat at night. Especially those who like to get up early can experience the feeling of entering an ancient temple early in the morning. Suitable for wearing kimono, summer yukata and taking photos nearby. There is a Chinese-owned kimono rental and sales shop diagonally across from the hotel's Chion-in entrance on the left. It is on the second floor where you can dress, make up, and comb your hair. The boss is very nice and the price is fair. Compared with nearby ones, it is more favorable. The service staff are also Chinese students, so there is no communication. Obstacle, the Japanese people who do hair and makeup are very professional, and the effect is very good. You can use WeChat. Many of the clothes are new and clean, and the experience is very good. Room: Compared with high-end hotels, it is not too big. I live in a Japanese-style room. The bed takes up a lot of space. The air conditioning is a bit loud and noisy. The biggest problem is that I can't sleep in. The windows have no light-blocking effect, but there are rooms with normal hotel beds. I don't know why. The hotel has free Buddhist activities to participate in. You need to get up at 4:50. You can set the hotel broadcast switch. The first few monks are chanting sutras, singing wooden fish bells, etc., which is very good. After about half an hour, a monk lectures in Japanese. It’s too painful for foreigners who don’t understand Japanese. They don’t understand it at all and are embarrassed to leave. I saw a few locals nodding and smiling, so they must have spoken well. Breakfast: The hotel is a very good kaiseki restaurant. Some of the side dishes are not used to eating. The boiled vegetables, mushrooms, meat and tofu have no taste. Porridge, rice miso soup and some side dishes are available for self-service. It can make you full. Drink an extra bowl of porridge. Accidentally overeating. The hotel accommodation tax is 600 yen per day (about 30 yuan) and must be paid separately when checking out. Ctrip's standard room rate is not included.

The room is very nice, the view and location are excellent, but the breakfast is too disappointing, it seems to be a monk's breakfast, only rice, miso soup, and a bunch of pickles...

Adjacent to Maruyama Park, Kodai-ji Temple and Kiyomizu-dera Temple are within walking distance. You can also participate in the morning memorial service unique to a temple lodging, and you can visit Amida-do Hall and Miedo-do Hall. Just be aware of the 23:00 curfew.
