After walking 38 straight days on the Way of St. James (Chemin de St. Jacques), I can say without doubt this was the worst hotel of all 38 we stayed in. Our room was so sad and tired and in desperate need of updating. The bedding was threadbare and the pillows were so old and lifeless they looked like the thinest "crepes". There are quaint hotels and then there are sad, dilapidated ones. Hotel Jinjaud was not for us. Lastly, the breakfast was meager with just bread, butter and marmalades. Look for another place to stay!

Un accueil très sympathique et une belle situation, pour ce petit hotel à l'ancienne, resté "dans son jus", mais qui apporte le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. La propriétaire est adorable,serviable et attentionnée, et nous sert un très bon petit déjeuner en terrasse.

Loin des hôtels de luxe, le cadre est simple et atypique et parfois ça fait du bien. Le prix est très correct et l’hôtel est bien situé. Les hôtes sont très agréables, naturels, sans chichi et ça aussi ça fait du bien. De passage à la Souterraine, je vous conseille cet hôtel si vous recherchez de la simplicité et un endroit où passer la nuit.
