Location wise, it’s not good nor bad. Rent a scooter to get to places as everything is really far out. The only thing we looked forward to was the flea market just downstairs which is on every Wed and Sat. Breakfast selection was poor, the same options everyday and it didn’t taste great too. Room cleanliness can be improved. Windows area are very dusty and dirty, with room service done every late afternoon. The room was fully carpeted, and they don’t even vacuum the room, so not ideal with those with small kids as we know how messy they can get with their food and snacking, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. Won’t come back, unfortunately. The only great part is the restaurant at the rooftop with the infinity pool. Super nice view of the sunset :)

The hotel is located in a conveninet location, within walking distance to the Lagenda park and Eagle square-- which are a must see. I walked there twice in about 15- 20 minutes; it would cost about 10 RM by Grab taxi. Some rooms have a good view of the Maha tower and the bay --the tower lights up at night and is really beautiful. The bed is quite comfortable and the WIFI is very strong . The shower and hot water runs alright . The staff, Dan, was very helpful and helped me to complete my itinerary . I was travelling alone, but there were families there as well . It is budget friendly but the amenties exceeded my expectations. Of course it is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay.

The seaview room is decent, though can be improved in the sense of room smell. The view is however amazing, and unobstructed. The bistro is disappointing. Order took too long to arrive. I specifically ordered a glass of mocktail and a chicken chop. Drink arrived after about 15 mins (acceptable) but the food did not arrive despite waiting for almost an hour. Since I had another plan to attend to, I called the waiter for my bill. Suddenly my chicken chop was said to be ready, and the bistro lady asked if I wanted to have it packed or dined there. Of course I asked her cancel my chicken chop. Guess what, it’s charged considering it’s cooked when I was about to leave. Funny right? I dont want a refund, but I hope the bistro learns the proper way on how to professionally manage an F&B business.

The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a travel agency in the lobby open during work hours where you can get helpful information about tours, local beaches, restaurants etc that we found very useful. The hotel is also conveniently located next to several banks, eating places, supermarkets and Langkawi’s Kuah night market that occurs on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We had an ocean view room that gave us a view of the ocean and pool. Our queen room was spacious and so was the bathroom, which included both a shower and bathtub. The rooms were decently clean though I would say the focus was more on certain items or areas and not the whole room. Still, it wouldn’t hold us back from visiting again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The hotel was lovely and clean with a nice view from higher ground. All toiletries provided.Room was spacious. Local food can be found around or nearby.Beside a shopping complex with duty-free shops. FYI, do not purchase Gamat products inside the HIG shop as price was expensive than outside the shop.

The location is solid and hotel clean. The real joy is the staff. They are happy to help and provide their time to make your stay in Malaysia great.

Went to Langkawi during semi lockdown in Klang Valley and was looking for a budget friendly accommodation just to shower and sleep. Upon looking Agoda (online booking aps) decided to stay at this place that situated in Kuah Town due to its super low rate (probably due to covid) and central location. The place is brand new and from the outside, it looks like a decent no frills accommodation. The lobby is like the average bed and breakfast place (they open 24 hrs.. Don't worry if u arrive late) If you are hungry, the sell basic instant food like instant noodles and waters. But what surprises me the most is the super clean room. Not just that, our room in level 1 (they even have lift) smells fresh and not to mention, is comparable to a 3 to 4 hotel star rooms size. They even have coffee making facilities and free water. (don't forget I just paid rm58 for it!) The air conditioning works just fine and the bed is with great pillow and mattress too. Like said, like in 3-4 star hotels! One thing you need to be mindful if you are driving, since the location is in rows of new shoplots, need to be mindful about the parking. U need to buy tickets for the parking (but according to the staff at check in counter, the enforcement officer usually comes in the morning around 10am😜)

A note to all the VIEWERS considering staying in a hotel for the foreseeable. Please be kind to the team members that you encounter during your stay! 🙏🏻 Due to disappearance of income for months, the hotel you are staying in probably cannot afford to bring many team members back from furlough. If you are asked to wait in the bar, with a complimentary drink when you arrive at the hotel because your room is not quite ready. Sit patiently in the bar, and please be assured the team are working as quickly as they can. Imagine if you had to clean 20+ bedrooms yourself and think how long it would take you and how you would be feeling after room number 10! 😩 Don’t be surprised if the receptionist, waiter, housekeeper that you come across, does not actually have that role in their job title. With limited staffing, the hotel becomes 1 team! So if the waiter isn’t familiar with what beers are on offer and has to check, don't sigh and roll your eyes! Say thank you...they are probably the HR Manager! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Your room may not be cleaned everyday, as they have a duty to protect the team and as you should all well know, the virus can survive on surfaces and in the air. So why would they want to send our team into a dangerous environment just so you can have your bed sheets tucked in! They can of course offer you a top up of any guest supplies! In fact, you can have as many tea bags and loo rolls as you like!!! And yes, you have single use cups in your room, because no, they don’t have time to run 400+ cups and mugs through the dishwasher on a daily basis. 🤔🤔😫😒 When you decide to dine in the hotel, the menu may be limited. Please consider that there is likely to only be 1 chef in the kitchen, on his own, running the whole operation...yes that includes washing up too! They are grateful you chose to dine with them, but please be considerate and don’t complain because there isn’t enough options on the menu and you wanted steak! 🥗🥣🌮🥪🍲🥘🌭 I am sure the rate you are paying for your room may be a considerable amount of money to you. But, be rest assured they are considerably cheaper than what you would usually pay. So please do not ask for a discount because the leisure facilities are closed. As above, the industry is already struggling for income without having to process refunds because you weren't impressed with sausage you had at breakfast because it tasted too piggy! 🐷👏🏻👏🏻 And lastly, it is highly likely the hotel is going through a redundancy and restructure process right now. It is a very sad time for the hospitality industry. So please be kind, it is a very stressful and upsetting time for the team. They work very hard and very long hours to ensure that you have a relaxing break! I could go on but I am sure you get the gist by now! Room has a good view as I could see the Eagle Square and sea from my room. Location of hotel is excellent and it is easy to eat transport to the famous Langkawi landmarks. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Would recommend this hotel to friends and will stay again in future.
