Had a fantastic holiday, we went self catering as wanted to venture outside the hotel on an evening. Get a back gate key as saves your legs immensely €10 as deposit but saved us so much time. Shop was well stocked and not badly priced either we used it daily for pop,water etc Pool food during the day was excellent hot and staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were spacious but no working air con when daily temps was 38 was crazy and we got charged to hire a fan. Nice that each block has a pool we had a quiet few days before the half term school holidays started so we had the pool to ourselves, the large pool was extremely cold and deep all round so we didn’t use it. The grounds were cleaned and immaculately kept, loved the plastic cup boxes on each block great idea to keep the place tidy for the drinks cups to be put in. I will definitely return great place and location only 15min walk to the seafront and lots of shops, bars and restaurants with The Harp bar being one of our favourites.

Spent 4 nights at Bluebay Beach Club across the back end of November. Overall I wouldnt say it was a bad holiday. You pay for a cheap holiday, you get a cheap holiday. There are a few things I would change or update. Firstly the rooms definately are outdated, so dont be suprised with them. TV socket was hanging from the wall not secured properly, however the view overlooking the sea is brilliant and its a huge balcony too. Youre hardly going to spend much time in the rooms anyway, but it would be nice if a bit more time and money were invested into them. The rooms are big, completely seperate bedroom to the living room, with a kitchen that has everything you need. Dishwasher, oven, toaster, big fridge. So if you want to cook in your rooms its easy. Television we had to pay to get the international channels. It was €10 for 3 nights that we took, you could do less or more depending what you wanted. Also had to pay for a safe which is €4.50 per night. This was frustrating though because you shouldn't have to pay extra for a safe or to have tele seperately, Im sure most would agree that youd much rather have both of these included, but have it charged within the cost of the holiday itself so you dont see it. Would make much more sense just to increase the price of staying at the hotel by £50 per package and have that cover the costs of the safe and television. Customers would appreciate that alot more. The hotel is right next to a little airport so you do get a few planes going over to land or take off. Didnt bother me at all, but its something to be aware of. This only happens during the day and it isnt constantly happening, and it isnt overnight or early in the morning There is a shop downstairs on site so you can get all your basic needs there. Water, juice, bread, snacks, shower gel etc for the room. No chemist though. For the chemist you have to go out the hotel. Because we know the area very well, we was getting taxis down to one of the better beaches by San Agustin shopping centre, which was a 5 minute taxi drive and cost €7 there, and then €7 back. The food in the restaurant wasnt too bad. Get your mix of pizzas chips, some nights, others its fish, chicken rice. You do have to pay for drinks when having your dinner though! This was annoying because again its a hidden cost you dont expect. Again, itd be better to just charge this against the overall cost of the hotel so you dont see it, but you get it. Our room was quite high up so we didnt see any cockroachs at all in the room, but it was a bit of a walk to the reception. We did happen to stay next to a noisy parrot though which was a shame. Not the hotels fault, nothing they can do about a neighbour who has a parrot out. It would sometimes be noisy middle of the night so if youre a light sleeper you would wake up, but it does stop and go quiet for hours on end and it wasnt every single night that it made noise Pool area is really nice with lots of sun loungers and places to sit. Very suitable for parent-child vacation, the hotel has arranged a lot of programs from morning to night. The design details of the hotel are super beautiful and ubiquitous, perfect African style. There are 9 swimming pools, you can definitely find the place you want to lie down and relax. There is a long row of shopping festivals and small restaurants at the entrance of the hotel. The Tujiu restaurant is the most authentic and delicious. The service was excellent, both in reception and restaurant, but the services in the facility were a bit unfavorable in the sense that personally, as I was with my pregnant wife, I had a room on the lowest floor the first day, everything was fine because there is an elevator, but The rest of the days they had them out of service, which in a place like that I think can't go wrong. The gym was a bit poor and the only machine that it had did not work well, the impossible parking on the second day was that I was able to get one and pay it to the hotel, when you go to make a reservation you will see a buffet breakfast option for €4 that does not exist lol. The rest all good. I think that services such as the elevator should be guaranteed to keep them in optimal conditions. For the rest all good.

Great Location. The local bus No 22 stops right outside the airport. 1.4 euros to the bus terminal at the end of the beach, 10 minute journey, every 20 minutes. Its then only a 5 minute walk along the beach to the hotel. Refurbished hotel with a good selection at breakfast. Swimming pool on roof with a bar that serves great food. The barman, Pepe was fantastic.

Apar**ents are up the hill which is a good walk or you can get a taxi for about €3.50. Plenty of taxis about. Very basic apar**ents but they do include everything you need. you need to request fresh towels the day in advance. There is a laundrette on site which charges €5 per wash, also a dryer for around same price. Beds not the greatest so Don’t expect a comfortable sleep but you get what you pay for!

Let's start with the good things - the communication with the hotel even before arrival was relatively good, they responded to our inquiries regarding the room location request, but of course they kept giving an answer that they did not commit, but when we arrived, they made a note and gave us the location we wanted (in retrospect, we did not choose well - details below). There are many sun beds around the pool, the room is spacious and the location of the hotel is excellent. Now for the things that disappointed us - we asked for a room in the center facing the pool because of the view but we found that during the whole day there is a very, very strong sun on the balcony to such an extent that it is not possible to sit there all day, it's a shame they didn't put a beach umbrella or a pergola. There was no microwave in our room even though it was supposed to be (we didn't even bother to ask), during the first three days there were massive renovations in the hotel. At first the reception representative told us that it was something specific but it really wasn't, we saw that they had put scaffolding in the rooms next to it to renovate the balconies and also on the roof there was a large team working noisily with a drill and at the same time trucks arrived and unloaded sand into the garden. All this when the hotel was fully booked in one of the most requested weeks of the year. At the entrance to our room there were glasses from the room next door that were probably pushed out for the cleaner to take but they stayed there for 4 whole days. Even though we locked the room, the cleaner entered the room (locking it from the inside has no meaning...). One day the power went out in the gym and none of the hotel staff noticed at all (I went to the reception to inform them) and the hardest thing of all - at breakfast which is in the open bar by the pool there are a lot of pigeons that come and sit on the tables and the bar and the food stalls. Most of the food is enclosed in glass installations, but the surface of the bread and the heater and the drinks and the jams and many other things are exposed to the pigeons that come and sit on them and none of the staff does anything about it. Today there are many solutions for imitating ions even using electronic sound devices. Beyond the fact that it was disgusting, it is simply dangerous, a pigeon sitting on a surface of bread is diseases. Another thing, there is a nice bar by the pool but there is only one bartender/waiter so the waiting time to get a drink is around 25 minutes and the service is not very welcoming either. There are two large and beautiful pools but the water is really cold (it's a shame they don't heat it) and it will be really difficult for smokers. There are no smoking areas at all in the entire hotel except for standing in the strong sun next to a bin in the corner of the pool and restaurant area, unable to sit down and unable to put down a drink. We booked this as a cheap and cheerful final break of the year. We're not usually all-inclusive kind of people and tend to venture further a field longhaul. Having read some poor comments we were slightly skeptical, but we found the place fantastic for a weeks holiday, the rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. The all-inclusive options are good, unless you are a very picky 'English' only eater - breakfast and lunch options were preferred to the dinner options but still more than enough choice to make a meal. I can't comment on the alcohol situation as we are non-drinkers, but there is a variety of fizzy pop, water, fruit juice, a variety of coffee and tea options and alcohol free beer to choose from. We didn't spend much time in the resort itself as we like to explore - we hired a car and I would recommend doing so if you stay at this resort, especially if you aren't much of a walker as it's a 15/20 minute walk to the beach and resort centre. There is an onsite cat colony, a few specific cats came to our room to chill on the balcony, which we didn't mind as we are cat people. The pool area was cleaned daily and there was an ample amount of sunbeds available when required. The only negetive is the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms - fans only. We had a fantastic time and hope to venture back someday.
