This is the cutest hotel in the middle of farms in rural southern Italy. The distance to the beach is perfect, only a mile or two down the road. The rooms are small but quaint. The only suggestion I do have is to have additional seating arranged in the room for colder spring nights. The room was unique with the old walls peering through the new stucco. They clean them twice a week and are happy to provide additional towels and blankets upon request. The grounds are well kept, with a pool and plenty of seating around the gardens. If you exercise every day like we’re accustomed to doing, there isn’t a lot of walking space unless you’re willing to risk your like on narrow Italian rural roads, which I definitely would not recommend. The staff is so very pleasant though only one speaks English. They all attempt to understand as best as possible and will do whatever in their power to be sure their guests are happy and comfortable. Ask for Mery if you need assistance with English/Italian translation. She was always ready willing and able. We did not eat dinner in the dining area, mainly because I’m vegetarian and their dishes did not accommodate my eating habits, though breakfast was always fresh and plenty, with Lisa and SiMona were always ready to assist, Clem up and Bri g cappuccino’s with a simple nod. Love the staff! I also have to mention Pierluigi who brought in our luggage and checked to be sure we had everything we needed. They do have a clean pool, and although it was clean and looked inviting, it was a bit too cold to swim.
