The hosts were great! Helped me book a trip to the tiger leaping George.
The location is the best, right in the Herat of the ancient city.
Though, I got a room on the ground floor which was really disappointing. There were missing curtains for the window above the bed, so light came through when I wanted to sleep. And, the windows generally are super thin so you can hear everything going around, was really hard to fall asleep.
Just take that in mind if you book a ground floor room.
The whole place is beautiful though.

Location is good if you are looking to spend a lot of time in the ancient city. It's quite close to all the famous viewpoints for Lijiang Ancient City.
On arrival - Be prepared to walk ~700m from North entrance of ancient city to reach hotel. Those with big luggage will need to hire a 3wheel carriage to carry your bags to the hotel. Else u need to wheel them over uneven road surface.. Think cobblestone.. 😁

Our room had an excellent view of the surrounding ancient town and mountains. Location was great, in the middle of the ancient town and close to many restaurants and shops. The owner was very hospital and his dog is incredibly cute!

Great location right in the middle of the old town. The boss was super helpful and accommodating. Invited me in for a few beers too. Very welcoming. Due to the old wooden structures, noise is prominent from the streets but it’s not bad. I would recommend getting the room with the balcony as it overlooks the old town, and private. Thanks for the stay!
