Excellent hotel! Delicious food, very good entertainment show, very prepared and polite staff. The rooms are very nice, with the right rustic touch. I had some inconveniences at the hotel during my stay with my family; However, Mr. Santiago Salem was able to solve our problems in a personal, kind, respectful and efficient manner. I congratulate you for having Santiago as part of his team, he truly is an excellent worker!

Please be aware about the night shows, in my days in the hotel the show was about a scene of infidelity, assesinate & Suicide. We were with 7 children, in any part of the show was comunícate age restrictions. The rest was good but I think twice to return.

Excellent staff. Everyone was very polite and accommodating. The facility had all the bells and whistles with everything inclusive. Great food, wine and beverages.

Worst hotel services ever visited! The place is quite and interesting, but the service is really the worst I ever had. The check in took place at 5:03pm, they told us between 3pm to 5pm... It was just the start. The hotel doesn't run enough activities for children or family (compared to other decameron hotels), it is all inclusive and in restaurants you request some little changes in the dish it is not possible, the bar they don't have a variety of drinks and we requested for a lemonade they never could prepared it (and they had all ingredients to do it). Finally the check out process was a nightmare, I started the checkout at 11am and it finished at 12.30pm why too long, because they thought I was stealing their pool towels, yes, I never had a similar experience in any other hotel. So, I need to run and try to find the towels in all the hotel. We decided to stay little longer in the pool after the check out... so our extra stay permition was allowed until 3pm. We decided to leave the place at 3:15pm approx my children were thirsty so I request a glass of water and they could not provide any food or drink because of our expiration time (exactly words: I am not allowed, I want to give it to you but they are filming). Terrible experience, never I will go back, even if it is free!

If you want to see the night shows, bring with you protection for your ears, the audio system is too loud. Don’t expect to have your room ready when you arrive, I had to wait almost an hour to get my bracelet and to able to get food, and a extra hour to get my room ready.

The environment was great,lot of activities, and clean rooms. The staff was friendly. The animation team (Zumi, Anthony, Edwin, Javier, Delqyis Vanessa, Nicole) had a lot of energy, offered diferent activities and a diferent show each night we stayed. Georgina, housekeeper, was servicial and kind. The Italian restaurant was good. Buffet needed more Peruvian food choices. In general it was great, we wished we stayed longer.

I have just arrived here and i wished i had read the comments prior to our booking. Havibg stayed here in the past, service used to be great, so I did not chequed before this time. Upon arrival i got frustrated and dissapointed. We arrived at 1:30pm, with a 7 months old a 11 year old, and my mum 70, this in order to avoid the traffic in Lima and make sure we feed my baby. In pretty much every hotel, you are allowed to arrived slightly earlier, to leave your bags after a long trip, we did it this time too as we have never been dissapointed in the past with other chains. This must be the 0.5% of hotels with that exception and very ridiculous rules. They are leaving us wait 1:30hrs in reception. check in is not till 3pm and if we want to enter earlier, you have to pay $20, for 1.5 missesable hours. It is pretty warm here and there are not a single amenity in the reception, Even when you want to go to the toilets you are kind of followed like some sort of criminal and they can’t be accessed from reception. Not ideal with a very small child. Never sern this treatment, not even in 5 stars hotels around Europe and America. We hace just arrived for a 2 night stat and feel Even worst now i have seen recent past reviews.

I suggest highest effective Personnel of the Decameron hotel chain visit the Decameron El Pueblo in Lima, Peru not official of the hotel chain but as guess with taking different room prizes, so you can see firsthand the substandard this hotel is. I have stayed in the Decameron hotel in San Andreas. Colombia and a world of different. I have stayed in all-inclusive hotels in Cancun and Punta Cana. Then stay in Decameron El Pueblo was the worst experience so far. If any of you are concerned about the reputation Decameron hotel chain, pleas read the comments in Tripadvisor and take action to raise the standards.

My mom and her friend in their 80’s booked a room here. It was supposed to be a fun time, after all they had know each other since they were 8 years old. 1. The reception made them wait 1 Hour, my poor mother so confused, finally her friend called me so that I could explain to this people that we paid but I was never sent an email with the paperwork needed, all she had was the reservation number and a receipt given to us when we paid. 2. She was never notified that she could get a car to drive her to the restaurant. The restaurants are very far from the room she was given in, She was so hungry, she went to a closest restaurant which denied her entrance and informed her about the cars. Today is day 2 for her staying, I hope Decameron Hotel treats her right.
