I understand this is Latin America, but other hotels in Peru offer better service for much less. Some of the reception staff weren't very friendly. The system requiring advance reservations for the gym/pool is confusing; I've never encountered this before."

There's a fantastic Peruvian restaurant just a five-minute walk away. The hotel's breakfast is excellent; you can order specific items. I've had the fried eggs and burritos, and they were delicious. Compared to breakfasts I've had in other South American countries, the breakfast here is very friendly to Chinese palates."

"This was my second stay, not because it's great, but out of familiarity. Safety in the surrounding area is my top priority. The front desk was as efficient and friendly as ever. However, the hotel lobby and restaurant floors were still dirty. The room didn't have complimentary drinking water, and the paid mini-bar was stocked with overpriced items. You can buy water and bread at the gas station across from the hotel using a card. Dining options are inconvenient, and food delivery isn't very reliable. I probably won't be staying here again."
