Sailor Jack's has lost its treasure. We have stayed here for years mainly because the big picture glass windows in the room make for a breath taking experience. To our dismay, they are removing these windows and installing a smaller sliding glass door with a tiny (and for the most part useless) balcony. Walling up a good portion of the view and encumbering the remaining view with the two piece door and a railing half way up, seems a poor decision. I used to be able to lie on the bed and feel like I was out on the ocean. Now I look through a railing. The chair in the room are eye level with the railing. What a waste of money and aesthetics. The clerk would not move us to another room that had not been destroyed yet even though I was in tears.

Sailor Jack's is tucked away on a dead end street. Giving it a private feel.
The room is spacious enough with a some modern updates, and a small deck for ocean view, the 3rd story ocean view was spectacular.
Great beach access to a long strech of beach in both directions.
Friendly staff and easy check in.

Wonderful beach front place to stay for a single night. Everything you need for a comfortable night in the room we stayed in. Our 3rd floor room had a king bed, 2 comfortable chairs, fridge, microwave, tv and a standing only deck. The bathroom was clean & roomy. It was perfect for our "just one day" get away to the coast. If we stay multiple days we prefer a kitchenette. We will stay here again.

We had family in town and they shared this was the nicest hotel they had ever stayed in. The view was amazing, the bed was very comfortable, the room was quite large. We plan on staying there again!

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at throughout our roadtrip across Canada and then from Florida to California to Oregon. The price was unbelievable for this fancy, clean huge room overlooking the ocean. Upon arrival the gentleman at the front upgraded us to a room with a fireplace as there would be some construction noise in the morning. We sat by the fire listening and watching the waves. There was even a HEATED bidet toilet! I haven’t even had this experience in a $300/night “fancy” hotel. We were so impressed. What an amazing way to end our 3 week roadtrip. We will be back to Sailor Jacks for sure! Thanks for a great night!

i've stayed here many times throughout the years, that alone should tell you how much i like it.
i was looking fwd to the little things...usb ports built in head board, this room 213 they didn't work, HUGE disappointment! the outlet in the port next to the USB's didn't work. EVERYONE uses a USB now a days.
weak pressure in the showerhead. it wasn't terrible, just annoying.
instead of a bench at the window, a small table with chairs 'd be nice. some people like me, have bad backs.
next time i stay here, def gonna get a room on the bottom floor if possible.
