We had a lovely stay and it is worth highlighting the staff who all were very friendly and service orientated. We would have written expressing our admiration for the staff if you hadn’t sent a survey

Arrival - fine, staff friendly.
Room, not the cleanest, window open, freezing cold when I went in
TV did not work. Took hours to get BBC1 & BBC2 on. I don't watch BBC. Told them rest of channels were still down, nothing done after.
Evening Meal - fine, but way overpriced. Staff friendly.
Tea & Coffee facilities were not restocked from previous day
5am in the morning, Tonto's drums started (dun dun, dun dun, dun dun) until I left at 7:30
I expected so much more from a Marriott Bonvoy - Terrible

This was unfortunately a disappointment.
I booked as I was having surgery on the Monday.
The TV didn’t work. There were other peoples items left in the wardrobe. Mould in the shower. No conditioner in the dispenser. At 6am on the Tuesday, the gardener started directly below our window with a leaf blower.
This list just goes on!
Staff that we asked about the TV said “oh some of them just don’t work”.
Not what I expected from a Marriott. Particularly as if booked a suite to try and make surgery time a little less stressful.

A great hotel, really helpful staff, but I did book because of the pool so closing it at 9.00 am was unfortunate.
