Perfect location, the room is nice with a shared kitchen that we can make simple food.

The guesthouse is located near the city centre, room was pretty clean. Had a very pleasant stay, would definitely recommend. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The kitchen was very nice even though I didn’t use it. The room is basic but very clean and comfortable. I love the bed and the fresh bed linens. Heating AC worked well. I felt like I was in the guest room of someone’s home.

Room was clean and of a good size . It was on one of the busier roads but not to noisey as it has good windows and shutters . Excellent central location near to shops , bars restaurants and older part of town

I love this guest house in Lisbon. It’s very basic but very clean and charming. Bed was so comfortable with sheets that felt like they had just come out of the sunshine. It’s a No Frill’s room, but all I needed. I stayed there twice while in Lisbon and would definitely consider it again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Deducting 1 star because I didn't expect that you can't flush the toilet paper and you had to use a garbage can. On our first day there was no garbage liner, so it felt unsanitary. After the room was cleaned then a liner was added. Deducting another star because a glass bottle of water was provided, and the glass was brown so you can't see what's inside, plus the stopper was a simple cork. I didn't trust it to drink it. A better solution would be a twist cap bottle of water instead. We checked in from a hotel lobby diagonally across the street and we had a little trouble finding the GuestHouse at night.

Person at the desk very professional. The guesthouse is well located, close to public transportations and supermarket. Nice and clean, the kitchen is also available. Don't forget to use the free lift. Elevator Baixa on Rua dos Fanquieros 178.

This guesthouse has an excellent location, walkable to sights, shops, and restaurants. The well organized kitchen is great and the room generally comfortable. However, we had no idea Rua de Madalena was such a Main Street, and it was NOISY - even with windows and shutters closed. Not easy to sleep. Additionally, like many places in old buildings, they request that toilet paper is placed in a garbage can rather than the toilet. The problem is that this gets stinky. We asked for the garbage to be removed and were told that it would only be done every second day. But despite our request, it did not happen at all during our 3-day stay. Not okay! We saw cleaning staff in the building every day and were very disappointed that they didn’t take 2 minutes to empty our garbage. We would not go back to this guesthouse despite its excellent location and lovely kitchen.
