We had an amazing long weekend at the late autumn house. The owner is super friendly and did everything to make our stay as wonderful as it was. The breakfast was very good, the room was clean. Everything is decorated with a lot of attention to detail. We especially enjoyed sitting at the fireplace drinking tea (also because in winter like in most hotels it can be a little bit cold).
The hotel is in a small village directly in the bamboo forest. Nanshan Bamboo Forest is not far away, but you can also start hiking just across the street.
We can only recommend to stay here.

I booked 3 rooms for 5 nights in the B&B. I walked around the area and took an average of 20,000 steps every day. When I returned to the B&B, I fell asleep on the comfortable bed accompanied by the chirping of cicadas and frogs. I rested well and was full of energy every day. The boss's family is very nice. I can feel the warmth of the B&B. The breakfast is also delicious. You can choose Chinese noodles or Western toast. The meal cooked by the boss's wife feels like home. I recommend it! There is also a beautiful terrace on the roof, where you can see the Nanshan Bamboo Sea in the distance. I also saw fireflies near the B&B. It is quiet and relaxing. Shenxijie is very beautiful and I recommend staying here.
