"Having stayed at many Marriott hotels, I'm really disappointed with the one in my hometown! The dust was shocking – the cleaning lady said it was because of the duvet, which apparently just sheds dust when you shake it. It's 2026, shouldn't duvet quality be better by now?! People with allergies and asthma should definitely steer clear… The mini-bar only had two bottles of water, which is just enough for two people, I guess?! And the hairdryer was an old model… It's supposed to be a high-end hotel, but the amenities are truly subpar!"

"The lake view from the room is great, and while the facilities are a bit old, they are very clean. There are plenty of activities for all ages and seasons, making a three-day, two-night stay perfect. The hotel staff are all warm and polite and interact well with children. The hot springs are a highlight, with over thirty open, so it never feels crowded, and there are many staff members attending to them. However, the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant was a huge disappointment. A la carte options are expensive, and the set menus are limited, too salty, and the bamboo shoots were tough and unappetizing. It's definitely not suitable for two adults and one child; the only decent thing on the set menu was a fried fish roll. Furthermore, the service was abysmal. No one greeted us upon entering, and after our meal, no one asked for feedback, offered a small snack, or called a shuttle. There was absolutely no service to speak of, a stark contrast to the Hong Kong-style restaurants we've experienced. My rating is for the hotel; if it were just for Fisherman's Wharf, I'd give it only one star for the ambiance."

Chatting with the owner, I learned he bought the house himself and invested nearly 10 million RMB in renovations. Even after two years of operation, it's incredibly well-maintained and still looks brand new. 🎮Activities: The entertainment facilities are amazing! Mahjong, projector, portable karaoke, BBQ – everything is available, plus a large conference room perfect for a group of friends. When the weather is cooler, you can even sing outdoor karaoke on the lawn in the evening – the atmosphere is fantastic! 🍽Dining: The food was the most amazing part! The guesthouse's private chef prepares everything to order – the fish is caught fresh, the chicken is killed fresh, and the vegetables are picked fresh – all incredibly fresh. We ordered old hen soup, reservoir fish head, and black glutinous rice—every dish was absolutely delicious! It was chestnut season, so we also tried braised chicken with chestnuts. Before leaving, we bought some chestnuts to take home; they were only 10 yuan per jin (500g), so affordable and tasty! At checkout, the owner even gave each of us a box of Tianmu Lake white tea—so thoughtful! I'm already ready to rave about this place to my friends. I highly recommend it—it's a fantastic choice for birthdays, parties, or vacations!"

"The room was lovely, with a beautiful window view. In the mornings, I could hear birds chirping, and at night, the sound of frogs, which perfectly fit the expectation of breathing fresh mountain air. However, the room didn't have a mini-fridge. I asked the housekeeper to help me put some items in the park's freezer, but they ended up being put in the refrigerator instead. They didn't freeze, and I had to throw them away, which was quite frustrating. The hotel offers a group chat service, and the housekeeper, Chang Le, was very enthusiastic and helpful. The complimentary photoshoot with photographer 'Tiān Shàng Yuè' (Heavenly Moon) was also excellent, with no hard selling. All the staff members were very friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Since only hotel guests are allowed in, the entire resort was very quiet with few people. I'm not sure if it was just the off-season, but many facilities seemed to be closed, making the park feel a bit desolate. Only three outdoor hot spring pools were open. Also, at this time of year, there were a lot of flying insects, and it was hard to avoid them in the hot springs, which was a bit annoying."
