Conrad Los Angeles

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The ambiance is fantastic, with a classic, old-money vibe. It's directly across from the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the sunset light and shadows are absolutely beautiful. The Museum of Contemporary Art is just diagonally opposite, making it super convenient for exhibitions. The surrounding area is lovely. The à la carte breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend the Spanish dishes, especially the duck breast and the beef tartare.

This is by far the best sleep I've had in a Los Angeles hotel, and the food was great too! It's super close to the Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Broad, and various art museums! Definitely worth looking forward to and staying at!

Excellent location and service! The room was very clean and comfortable. This was the best hotel of our trip to the USA.

The mattress and pillows were super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room was spacious and bright with plenty of storage, and generally clean. The lobby and gym were also great. However, some room facilities need maintenance: the shower water pressure was extremely low, making it difficult to shower; and the power outlet on the desk was constantly malfunctioning. Although it briefly worked when the maintenance team checked it, it failed again after they left, meaning I couldn't use the coffee machine properly throughout my stay. Housekeeping was sometimes late (coming after noon and not cleaning the bathroom), and there was no turndown service.

The downtown area isn't as bad as some reviews make it out to be; the streets are quite clean and tidy. About a ten to fifteen-minute walk away, there's a Japanese street with various ramen shops that are pretty good.

I usually don't write reviews because I'm lazy, but this place really disgusted me. After staying in so many hotels, I have no idea how this Conrad managed to get a 'gold diamond' rating. 1. The room was incredibly noisy. It was right next to a main road, and even after switching rooms twice, it was still the same. 2. The shower pressure was incredibly low, despite having three outlets. Trying to take a relaxing shower at night was genuinely infuriating. 3. Although the US is a tipping country, basic cleaning services should be provided regardless, right? If you don't tip, housekeeping won't even leave bottled water? And they don't replenish towels or slippers, nor do they clean the bathroom. 4. Room service for delivery was genuinely slow. After showering at night, I realized housekeeping had broken the hairdryer (it was working fine when I left in the morning), and it took half an hour for a new one to be delivered. I am extremely, extremely disappointed. Is this really the standard for a 5-star hotel? If you don't find my words credible, please come and experience it for yourself. You definitely won't be disappointed. :)

The room was clean and well-maintained with complete facilities. The location is convenient with a pleasant surrounding area, directly across from the Disney Concert Hall. The front desk staff and room service were also very professional. I would consider staying here again.
