Burleigh Court Hotel and Leisure

The hotel was spot on for us in terms of location and we were pleasantly surprised. The only thing I would say is that the rooms we were in does need some maintenance completing but apart from that no problems. We shall be staying again.

Burleigh Court Hotel is a friendly, clean, comfortable, hotel set in pleasant grounds at Loughborough University. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. It was great having the use of a swimming pool as well. A note is that it is more expensive on weekdays than at weekends.

Overall a nice hotel. I like the ambiance, rooms very average though. A 10am checkout is extremely unfair to guests. This is very unusual, and in all my travels and hotel stays this (and related Link hotel) apply this. Since the check in time however is the “traditional” 3pm, it means guest practically get to stay a few hours only when for a one night stay. The normal stay should be 3-12, and hotels, which push for 11 checkout are already unfair but a 10am is ridiculous!

Quiet, comfortable room. All mod cons. Only negatives - bed a little hard and no aircon. Also tv guide didn’t work on tv. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and stay was pleasant. Would stay again.
