This was my second stay in this wonderful hotel. The room was extremely comfortable during two cold winter days. The honor bar with teas and a selection of drinks and snacks was delightful, as was the well-appointed library in which it was located. Staying at Die Reederin was like being a guest in the home of a friend that loves to entertain. I will also note that we had a few special needs, and the hotel could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I am hoping to return again!

Lovely, modern, slightly quirky hotel in an old historic building. The owner (s) was very attentive and the service is quite personal. It feels a little bit more like you’re a guest in someone’s home, but that adds to the charm. We had a lovely big, unusual room on the second floor. The bed was very comfortable with very nice bed linen. There was a room next to it with kettle, coffee machine and honesty bar. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the town centre, and we could see the river from our window. Breakfast was wonderful, with home baked breads, and other treats. Eggs were cooked to order, and they make “proper” coffee! Personally I was a little bit disappointed in Lübeck, but I couldn’t fault where I stayed.

Visited with my wife in April. The hotel is located very close to the city centre and is very newly opened so everything is in good condition. The rooms are ok size and the bed was very comfortable. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served at the table and the choices are limited but enough for our needs.

Die Reederin is a new hotel located in the beautiful Lubeck. The rooms are very confortable and clean, the location is amazing but the best part of this hotel was the service and its friendly staff. The experience was amazing thanks to Nina and her team. Will definitely come back.

This relatively new hotel is located in the old city about a block from the riverfront and a brief walk from many wonderful restaurants, museums and attractions. It is a beautiful and charming property. The public spaces and rooms are airy and simply decorated with Hanseatic flair. My room had a view out over the rooftops. When I checked in, Nina provided me with a few ideas of how to spend my day, all of which were extremely helpful. There was a carafe of water and a bonbon in my room each evening. Breakfast was ample and delicious. I had an early train on my departure day, and the hotel ensured that I had breakfast and arranged a taxi. I will definitely be returning!

We found Hotel Die Reederin online, and hoped that the description was accurate. It was, and more than that, the proprietor of this lovely Inn, or bed and breakfast, made our stay a memorable one. She was kind and helpful from the moment we expressed an interest in staying at the hotel, and once we arrived, she treated us as her personal guests. Her recommendations for what to see and do and for restaurants were spot on. She arranged our tickets to the Hanseatic Museum (a must-see just minutes from the Hotel), and marked a map of the old town with the must-see highlights. Oh, and the breakfasts! Delicious, fresh, brought to the table. The room was large, well-appointed, and the historic building is fun to explore. Finally, she even directed us to the sights for a brief tour of Hamburg when we left Lübeck. If you’re headed to Lübeck and would like a special experience, try Hotel Die Reederin.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in Lübeck, man kann super alles zu Fuß von da aus erkunden. Die Zimmer , wir hatten Dachgeschoss, sind geräumig, hell, sehr ordentlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt und wir bekamen tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen. Ein kleines, feines, sehr persönlich geführtes Haus mit geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern, guten Betten und einem köstlichen, in mehreren Gängen servierten Frühstück. Sehr ruhige Lage. Das Cognaczimmer mit der Honesty-Bar ist auch eine gute Sache. Zimmertip für Familien: die beiden Dachzimmer. Alles in allem: Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Das Hotel mit sieben Zimmern hat 2021 nach einer umfangreichen Renovierung des historischen Gebäudes eröffnet in dem sich bis 2016 eine Reederei befunden hatte. Der historische Flair wurde erhalten, zugleich wurden aber alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten ergänzt. Unser Zimmer "Paula" im obersten Geschoss war geräumig, liebevoll gestaltet und hatte Zugang zu einem Balkon auf dem Dach mit Blick über Lübeck. Das Badezimmer war modern gestaltet mit großer Dusche und Dachfenster. Im Zwischengeschoss gab es einen kleinen Raum mit Galerie und Minibar in Form einer Nespresso Kaffeemaschine und einem mit Getränken bestückter Kühlschrank (Abrechnung auf Vertrauensbasis). Frühstück gab es im Erdgeschoss und bestand aus hausgemachtem Brot und Müsli, frisch gepresstem Saft sowie Käse und Wurst aus der Region. Kaffeegetränke und Eier gab es auf Wunsch ebenfalls. Besonders gut hat uns der herzliche Service gefallen - auf Nachfrage konnten wir schon um 11 Uhr einchecken und auch erst später auschecken. Ein Parkplatz um die Ecke wurde für 6 Euro pro Tag für uns reserviert so dass wir unser Auto sicher und fussläufig abstellen könnten. Unterstützung bei der Reservierung von Restaurants hätten wir ebenfalls bekommen können, hatten uns aber im Vorfeld bereits selbst gekümmert. Alles in allem ein modernes, familiengeführtes Hotel mit tollem Service und tollem Design.
