With a fine position in Lund center, Bishops Arms is still a bit of an odd (and old) construction. Both a (large) pub in British style and a hotel, there is moderate "hotel feeling"; there's no actual lobby or public areas besides the pub/bar itself. The feeling of being on an old ferry is apparent. A minimum of staff to help you. Checking in is done at the counter in the pub. The rooms are accessed by one elevator. Rooms - at least the one I got - are basic and a bit worn and tired - could do well with a renovation. Not particularly fresh and clean: a certain amount of dust and "patina" can be found in the interior. Beds ok. Bathroom ok (yes, renovated). No AC, so it can be hot in the summer. Breakfast also ok, but very basic. Considering the price and the competition in town I can't really recommend this hotel. There are several options with fresher
