I stay here regularly when in town because the location is great and the Accor group has a commitment to Covid-safe cleaning practices.
On this stay, there were very high winds and I discovered this trip that the building has a unique wind-tunnelling issue.
The hallways "sing" with a high-pitched squeal through the vents.
No worries, the rooms have fire doors and the minute the door to the room is shut, the sound is blocked out.
In my case, the little mechanism at the bottom of the door didn't seal off, which meant the sound continued.
The concierge changed my room immediately - brilliant!
Only issue was that there are many fingermarks on door handle backplates, so I cleaned them all myself.
Also, I was verbally harassed by a guest for choosing to wear a mask in the lift.
Not at all the Sebel's fault; just a disappointing end to a lovely stay.

450m to Claufild station. Not far from town. Nearby is university and many restaurants. Shopping center and Coles in same distance. Nice stay!

I stayed here with my partner and my youngest son for my birthday weekend. Hotel staff were beautiful and welcoming me with a gift basket gor my birthday. Amazing room and so comfy and clean. S bit noisy though. I would have expected thicker paned windows to block put noise however that was only draw back. I had the best birthday I'd had in yea rs...thanks sebel will definately be back

The hotel is not in the city center, but not far away and there is a tram stop nearby. The layout of two bedrooms and one living room can accommodate 3-4 people. There is a full set of kitchen utensils for cooking, and there is a large Coles supermarket nearby for convenient shopping. Very good experience

This time I sent my children to study, so I booked this hotel. The room was a bit stuffy, facing the road, and there was a bit of noise at night. No disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste, no room cleaning service. The only advantage is that it is close to Monash Caulfield Campus and caulfield train station. If you are here for tourism, I do not recommend staying in this hotel.
