Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre

I booked this hotel last minute after arriving in Manchester (my original booking at a nearby Holiday Inn had poor hygiene, so I changed hotels), and surprisingly, this one turned out to be quite good, lifting my spirits after a bad start. **Facilities:** The coffee machine worked well, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom vanity was spacious enough. **Hygiene:** Good. **Environment:** The room I booked had a city view from the window (see photo). **Service:** They offered luggage storage and even helped arrange an early check-in, which was a very thoughtful service. However, sometimes the front desk didn't answer the phone, which would be perfect if improved. **Location:** Convenient for getting around and shopping. It's just a few minutes' walk from Oxford Road Station. You can easily walk to supermarkets, Chinatown, and the University of Manchester, and it's not far from the main train station either.

This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during this trip. It had air conditioning, a rich breakfast, a parking lot, and was right next to the train station. The overall value for money was excellent.

The hotel's location is excellent, with complete surrounding facilities including supermarkets, coffee shops, and pharmacies. It's a 15-minute walk to the city center and about a 5-minute walk to Oxford Road train station.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and the train station, and not too far from the University of Manchester. Check-in is self-service, which is a plus. The room isn't huge, but it has air conditioning and complimentary bottled water, making for a comfortable stay. There's also a great brunch place right next door!

The room was great.
