Best Hotels in Mansalay

I had a 2 night stay at the seasons Hotel and it was a very nice stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We did have to request an extra blanket but aside from that there were no issues. The complimentary breakfast was a made to order breakfast and the food was good. The staff at the hotel were excellent. The services that provided really made any interaction enjoyable. I recommend using their airport shuttle. They were waiting for us when we arrived, the van was in great shape and had aircon. While we were arriving at the airport for our departure my girlfriend realized that she forgot a bag in our room. The driver went back to get the bag for her as we checked in. They really went above and beyond and that was appreciated.

The hotel is rated as 5stars. It is far away from that if you expect a real 5 star hotel you will be disappointed. I would rate it like a 3,5 star hotel. The only category where the hotel reaches a 5 star level is at the prices for food and beverages as well any outside activity. The most worse was the transfer from Hotel to the airport. We get ask to pay 6000 Peso. My deeper question after that answer was what the costing will be if just get to the harbour the answer was - it is the same. the real costs for 5 person is around 2000 peso in total up to the airport departure terminal (the 6000 peso is a discounted price the price list of the hotel say 9600 peso). For a phone call as a customer service a fee of 4000 / 7600 peso for the hotel reminds me at business which brings you in jail. The same is for the drinks and food average double of the prices compare all restaurants we had visited and I do not talk about cheap restaurants. Furthermore, it takes typical 20 minutes for a coffee and one hour for a pizza in a non-busy time. The hotel itself have a nice beach location the pool is good and cosy the rooms are clean. I join a lot of 5 star hotel in Asia and middle east and I believe I can make a proper judgment about the hotel capability and costing ratio. The hotel is good just complete overpriced for what they are able to deliver. The guest is not seen as a guest you get easy the feeling the milk cow arrived let take all his milk. For me a one time experience never again.

Booked and paid for 2 months in the presidential villa and invited 14 overnight guests between 2-7 days. My booking was from February 1 until March 31, 2021 and I moved out 10 days early without a refund. Pro: Spectacular location New facilities Friendly staff Con: The lady and the gentleman who remotely manage the resort from Manila and Cebu have zero experience how to build, maintain and run a resort. They hired people without any hospitality experience, the general manager was a former housekeeping manager. Result: My guests and my family had food poisoning because the kitchen was never properly cleaned nor was there anybody who checks the food or kitchen staff. The manager got drunk while my guests were here and he double booked my reserved villas. Some guest villas had no AC and service for my guests was so chaotic that I ended up taking care of everything myself, from organising to get the villas cleaned to making sure there was toilet paper in the bathrooms. In the restaurant, they served a cake and one of my guests found a bit of metal wire inside the cake where previously a candle was attached. He was afraid that he may have swallowed a piece of wire. We asked the staff where they buy their cakes and they said other guests brought a cake for a birthday party and this piece was a left over! Fortunately, my guest was fine and got lucky since he found the metal wire before he swallowed any. When I finally announced my departure, the lady and the gentleman from the board sent me threats. I think if the investors in the resort replaced the board and hired experienced hospitality management, this could be one of the most beautiful experiences in the Philippines. Warning: One of my guests is a construction engineer and made me and my guests aware that we must not enter the cliff terrace in front of the restaurant because it has a severe structural problem (walk on it and you will feel how it moves up and down). The board was aware of it and allowed any guests and groups to use it anyway, and even dance on it, which is extremely dangerous. I just came across a lot of old positive reviews - possibly from people who were invited to stay for free during the opening period - and I decided to leave my comments although it has been a while ago that I stayed there. People cannot see behind closed kitchen doors and I had full kitchen access during my entire stay, and it was definitely a health hazard to eat there. Until someone with restaurant experience cleans up and properly handles food, and until someone with hospitality experience manages the rest, this resort should be avoided. Hopefully, the people who invested in this resort check what's going on there and come to their senses. A few examples: The cheap wood used for construction is already rotten, therefore cliff walkways and villa roofs need to be renovated. All bikes are broken because they are left outside, staff uses oily mops that ruin expensive curtains and then replace them with c

The Shanghai-la Boracay was nothing short of amazing. The staff were very friendly, professional, and personable. The amenities were up to date and very nice! Robert and Nessar from the beach bar were so nice and made sure we were always taken care of! Melissa from the seafood restaurant was so kind and recommended many delicious dishes! The villa was definitely worth the extra money. It was very big and offered great amenities. The villa was spacious with different seating areas where you could enjoy the sun or relax in the shade! They warned us about “wild animals” but we didn’t experience any. The pool was very big and also offered seating to sun bathe while enjoying it. The ocean was very clean and crystal clear! The beach serving staff were great even when you didn’t ask for anything. They brought around cold towels and ice water. It was my friends birthday and they made many efforts to make sure she felt special on her day. This included cakes, decorations, birthday songs and so much more! Very nice! I would definitely stay here again if I visit Boracay. Some negatives: while very very delicious, the food and drinks were a bit over priced. I expected to pay more for a 5 star resort however I still considered it to be a bit high. Also, I wish the villa cleaning services came sooner rather than later in the afternoon. Maybe have a time selection for cleaning times based on guest preferences. The last thing would be to offer a later checkout or waiting services/ offer if you have a later flight. The airport is very small and very close to the hotel. The jetty ride is only a few minutes and bus ride is even shorter. It would have been nice to not wait in an airport with no accommodations for less time. Besides that, my stay was so wonderful! Would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone!

Alta Vista is our go to place at Boracay! We’ve been to boracay 4x and we always love staying at Alta Vista!!! We tried staying at other hotels in between but Alta Vista outstands the hospitality of all the other hotels we’ve stayed in. The bed was so comfortable that it’s hard to get out! The aircon was so cold that it refreshes us whenever we came back from the beach. The room was always clean and tidy each and every visit! The jacuzzi pool was so relaxing after a long day from the beach! Kindly look for Rochel, Ike, Jhona, Joy as they are the warmiest people who’ll be there to assist you! For our shuttle service Herbert, Ray, Genesis and Acer are always on the go whenever we needed a ride! We thought we love Boracay but our heart goes to Alta Vista! We’re surely to come back soon! We stayed for 4days/3nights. I like the staffs, they are all approachable and love their smile. It was really value for money because daily breakfast is included in our room accommodation and they gave us complimentary massage and i love it! The service was great, it's exceeds my expectation. Location : It is located near at ilig iligan beach, 5mins away via walking. I love the beach because it was not crowded unlike in the main/front beach which is 20mins away from the hotel. They have a shuttle going to dmall ( 5trips per day). Thank you to kuya orland, shuttle driver. He shared about his experience in boracay island. Thank you also to Ms. Anita for giving us a free ride going to cagban port. So much appreciated! Thank you Oasis Resort and Spa. Thank you for 5star experience. The whole hotel team made us feel very welcome. John , the duty manager , was aware that we had booked to stay in March 2020 but because of Hong Kong covid restrictions we could only stay now . He gave us amazing room with a semi private pool by our terrace. A perfect start to our stay in an amazing hotel . We eat at the azure restaurant by the beach everyday as the food was great. Bee-jay one of the servers looked after us so well and made sure there was always a table for us . Even at breakfast the Erma the receptionist remembered us each day . It’s hotel you would want to go back too.
