We went to the Cayo to celebrate my husband's birthday with my children, and we wanted a place with large and spacious rooms, and with a good view of the sea , because the passion of him, are the boats. The first quarter that gave me (348, never take it) was a wall at less than two meters literally, so we asked to change. The second, I had a single King bed and a sofa (we were 5 and we had hired two Queens and one sofa), the third was next to the chair and there was a lot of smell, because they had no more free rooms.Fortunately, a cousin traveling with us was only and they had given him a room with two beds, and we asked him to give the king and we enter the king's, and so start our stay well. The hotel is beautiful, and is well located, but you need to be careful about these things.A special mention for the person who was on the front desk morning of 10/7 and who also attended us at the check out, I regretted not to ask your name, but he was very kind, and I help us in everything!!

have been here 4 days, I have at least 4 more days and may extend 4 more! I can not comment on the negative reviews here as I wasn't there.. BUT, I will tell you , I have walked, hung out, spent time and looked at every part of this property that I have access to and it is great!!! The staff is unbelievable!! Friendly, helpful, funny.. they want you to have a good time and enjoy your stay.. and I am!! I have talked to front desk staff, housekeeping, breakfast workers, the dudes cutting the grass.. ohh and the GM! These are regular folks, they care.. My room, a so game with a queen size bed has a large flat screen tv, work station with Ethernet plug as well as USB and 110V plugs.. I have a small sink and counter area, a mid size fridge, a lot of cabinet space, microwave, a safe that is NO extra charge, a fold out couch that is great to sit one... I haven't slept on it . But I might.. very comfortable to sit... A couple stow away ottomans, updated bathroom, huge shower stall, I have a small porch area with 2 chairs and a small table. Water in shower is hot, great pressure , room was clean, carpeted by bed and couch area, some type of tile situation in walkway and bathroom. My room was clean, smelled clean and the AC will freeze you out! I love it! There is a small dock on the water with a few chairs and a table. I sit there have a few beers, watch the boats , enjoy the sun, watch the iguanas.. and relax. There is a very nice pool area with a tiki bar that isn't open at the moment, but it's 15 steps from my room , I can get a beer there. Ohh, the breakfast area is feeling huge!! Breakfast was scrabbled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes. There is oatmeal, breads, bagels , dry cereal, yogurt... You get it... It's nice.. friendly staff, open on time.. There is an office /business center... I see computers honestly not sure what else. I am on vacation man I am not interested in that, but it's there.. Community bathrooms near front desk are ridiculous!! Wicked huge, spotless.. very very nice Dude.. you are in Marathon Key, this place is empty, I am in paradise. There is a great seafood restaurant across the street, even I can walk there... It's freakin great! On the water, fresh seafood, decent happy hour... There is a boat launch across the street. A Winn Dixie and a Publix 3.8mi south of hotel. Gas station maybe 1000' south of hotel. What more do you need? Check my profile, I am not a shill for Hampton Inn... I travel, I see the good and the bad all over the country... These folks here take care of business! I am coming back, if you see.me here... I will even buy you a beer. Be safe, stay here and have fun dammit!! Steve

Everything was great but the floor and room was absolutely dirty and it smelled horrible you had to pay extra for breakfast and it wasn’t even a good meal. the milk was bad no eggs no nothing just a apple and little boxes of cereal. I had to wait 2 hours for the towel and they still didn’t give it to me also each day we stayed I had to pay a 50 dollar fee

Family trip. Visiting several places in Florida. Headed to keys and needed a good place to use as a base to head out. Booked 2 rooms. This place is a hidden gem. Clean room. Tile floor. Very spacious. Good shower. Owner Mark, I believe was very accommodating and helpful. Not the grand Hilton but worth every dollar. We had a roku TV in room which was a little frustrating but came in late each day and didn't watch much. Typical wall unit ac and adequate to cool room off. Several rvs in other side of lot but rv'ers are usually very respectful and no issues at all concerning hotel. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Thx Bonefish bay!

We were a bit worried upon arriving to the hotel because it looked more like a motel, but it turned out that there are also 2-stories houses of 8 rooms each (4 on each floor, facing both ways) and that’s where our room was. Well I don’t know about the motel-like rooms, but the ones in the little houses (and ours) were charming, very cosy, clean, comfortable and in good condition. Each room has a shared balcony with the room next door. Ours was on the first floor so that we had nothing but the clear blue sky above our heads while eating the grab-and-go breakfast (porridge, yoghurt, orange, apple juice and mini blueberry muffin): simple, nice and nourishing. Small flaws: 1) the mattresses were a little too soft. Not sure if that was intentional or if they were a bit tired; 2) the front door was a bit stuck, we had to push it hard to open it; 3) the hotel is located near an airport where helicopters routinely take of or land late at night or early in the morning. Can be quite noisy. A very enjoyable stay all-in-all. I recommend. Right next to it is the Brutus seafood restaurant that I also warmly recommend for its excellent food and nice staff (and cosy atmosphere), all for a reasonable price.
