We spent one night here. Has an outdoor pool in between the rooms. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Staff was excellent. Grab and go breakfast were more than expected. Coffee and juice bar. The bag contained a banana, granola bar, mini donuts. The hall had well worn carpet and the chair in the room had worn out springs.

I recently stayed at the Super 8 in Marion, IL. I drove from Austin, TX to this location and had been on the road for over 12 hours and did not arrive until 12:30am. Upon my arrival, I was informed by staff that my room was not ready yet because it was being cleaned due to construction. I was told to wait in my car. I am a single, female driving alone and did not feel safe to wait in my car. I moved to the lobby where I then preceded to wait over an hour to get into my room. I did not get into my room until almost two in the morning!! And when I did get into my room, the entire floor leading to my room was full of trash and building supplies and was a hazard. My room wasn't even locked and when I entered, there was dry-wall dust all over the floor and pieces of plaster and debris. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have had in my life and it is completely unacceptable that I had to wait around two hours to get into my room after driving all day. I was exhausted and needed sleep to continue my trip to Michigan the following day. Due to this experience, I was not able to get adequate sleep and was at risk for driving safely the next day. Never try to stay at this hotel!!!
