The interiors are distinguished by the use of native Hawaiian Koa wood in floors, beams, and trim, lending warmth and a sense of place that no imported material could replicate. We also want to specifically recognize Evan, the front desk manager, for exceptional handling of a disruption to the private air transfer service included in our room rate. When our family members were stranded at Honolulu Airport after the carrier failed to retrieve them, Evan intervened on our family’s behalf — making repeated calls to the airline and pressing to hold the departing flight. He then arranged a special form of private transportation to bring them directly to the resort. He provided welcome gifts to ease what had been a stressful start to their stay, and he continued to monitor our experience throughout the remainder of our visit to ensure everything met expectations. His response was prompt, effective, and genuinely gracious. The Four Seasons Lana’i earns its reputation on both counts: a property of real architectural and natural distinction, and a staff that delivers when it matters most. We will return."

"The hotel has a rather rustic feel, and the overall ambiance is quite nice. It's right on the beach, and parking isn't as expensive as in Oahu: self-parking is 35, while hotel parking is 40. But one important thing: you absolutely must stay on a high floor, preferably above the 10th. Our first night, we were assigned to the 3rd floor, which had those annoying cockroaches we often see! Later that night, we contacted the hotel and were moved to the 12th floor, which was truly terrifying. A high floor is a must! The hotel is located in Lahaina, a 5-minute drive from restaurants like ABC, so you don't have to worry about breakfast. There's also a pharmacy nearby. Overall, it's a good place."

"Nice hotel on a beautiful sandy beach (but deep water so careful with kids). 2 swimming pools and 2 hot tubs. A big laundry with many machines. A library and a ping pong table in the lobby. A restaurant with decent prices. Almost a perfect stay... But: the room was cleaned only once in 7 days but for the expensive price of the room it should be done more often. The bed in our room (Coconut 165) was making noise and the mattress was not very comfortable, I had a backache after 3 nights only :("

"Hotel was believed to be the best on the island. Unfortunately I find completely overpriced. We paid 227 euros and I had to say that we had expected more. In the room there were many small cakes. If. cackerlaken. The walls were only in Total White. Nothing Hawaiiian. The pool is very good, but no beds to lying and everything is completely in the sun. Barfoot goes impossible. You burn your feet. You had to put things in the chairs of the hotel bar. All is a little complicated and not a degree of a great resort. Check-in was quick and nice, but more wasn't. So it was okay, but more wasn't"
